Clean and Impressive Apartment with Friendly Host
Renata, our host, was so friendly and generous, and made us feel welcome straight away. She stayed in contact with us via mobile from the moment I placed the booking (via booking.com), making sure we knew where we were going and arranging to meet us for our check-in. She even looked after our suitcases after we checked out on our final day, as our flights were later on in the evening, and at the beginning she made sure we had some ideas for where to go during our stay, highlighting the best thermal baths on the map she gave us. The room and shared areas were decorated in a very modern and clean white style, with some colourful hangings on the bedroom walls which made it feel homely and youthful. The room came with towels, a hairdryer, two beds, kettle, sink, fridge, table/chairs wardrobe and cupboards, and there was a microwave in the shared kitchen area.
We couldn't work out how to use the air conditioning, so the room was quite warm, although I'm sure this would have been explained to us had we asked - we were happy enough to leave the window open. The toilet in our room had an old-fashioned macerator system which was a little noisy, and came on every few minutes whenever the bathroom water was running, but this was explained when we arrived, and didn't bother us too much.
The Pest-side location was great - just a 3 minute walk to the centre of Pest with its cathedral, cafes and bars, and around 25 minutes to get across the bridge to Buda side if you wanted to walk up to the castle. We walked to the Parliament building along the river Danube in around 25 minutes as well. The apartments themselves are in a quieter area, so no need to worry about a lot of noise.

Not quite an apartement
Biggest upside for this property is the location, which also could be the downside. The upside is that the property is fairly close to the citycenter and public transportation options (airport shuttle stop on Ferenciek tere).
This apartement is not quite an apartement, but more like a hostel. Booking an apartement I expect a whole apartement just for me, not a property where I bump into other people while going to the toilet. So the property's name and category is quite misleading. Also the Irish Pub next door is quite loud.

Lovely stay!
Reneta was extremely lovely, very friendly and helpful even before we arrived at the studio. A huge help to our stay!!! The studio is pleasant, decor is wonderful and it’s extrneely clean. It has just been renovated which make it a wonderful place to stay. It looks exactly like it does on the pictures and yes, you have silk feeling bed sheets. The shower is a little temperamental, but has 3 different settings which you can make a lovely shower with. The area and location is perfect. Access to metro, trams and buses is easy and everything is within walking distance. Honestly if I came back to Budapest - this would be the first place I stayed!

Could be perfect
Located very centrally in Budapest with easy access to attractions, shops and great places to eat - you could throw a stone from the apartment and hit an amazing place to eat. The apartment itself though had a few kinks, that if ironed out could make the perfect stay. Our main problem with the apartment was the plug socket that was hanging off the wall, wires exposed and throw covering the mess. We could have worked with this had it not been the only socket in the room and actually worked. We messaged our host about it and although she told us it would get fixed, it unfortunately did not, leaving us to charge our phones, laptops and gadgets in the communal kitchen. Not ideal. Our other criticisms are smaller; the décor clearly covering up cracks and holes in the wall, the locks being a bit fidgety on the bathroom, the frosted glass panels on our room’s door added with the not fully shutting window shutters lighting up the room at night. On a more positive note, we did still have a comfortable stay and the room was a good resting place for our trip. Our host was friendly upon arrival and circled out all the places we should visit during our stay. Our neighbours were quiet and friendly, everybody was respectful of each other. This place has the potential to be perfect, it’s just not quite there yet.

Good location
Me and my partner stayed in the en-suite studio for 2 nights for our city break. On arrival we couldn't find the front door but after 10 minutes trying to find it we were finally there and approached by our host Renata who is very friendly and welcoming. The building itself is very dated and can be off putting but once in the apartment you will be pleasantly surprised. Unfortunately during our stay the property had to replace the boiler as an emergency so we had no hot water on our first day and then the electricity was off on our second day but the host's were quick to rectify this and their customer service is great. The location of the studio is great and for the price you cannot complain. If you are looking for somewhere reasonably priced in a good location to lay your head down for a couple of nights then this is ideal. Ps. The bed was very comfortable!!
