Excellent location close to castle bath and city centre, tasty and fresh food, good service with kind waiters. We would like advice the place for romantic dinners and cosy lunch breaks. There is a nice outdoor garden as well.

Dinner

We had a dinner in this restaurant with my family. Restaurant looks good and seemed clean with a nice garden area.
The food: i served beef and it was very 'bloody'; my wife's dish had the whole salt in the world.

Restaurant is awful

We went there for a light dinner. When we arrived the waiter noticed us and the same time ignored us so we went to sat down at an empty table. Restaurant looks good and seemed clean. We were sitting in the garden area. After 15 min we have got the menu and seemed pretty good. Nice choice of food and have menu in 3 languages. We have ordered a Gere Rose wine which arrived with dirty glasses. They must have been on the shelves for long time. We have ordered food and asked for half/small portion which was available. I thought that’s a good sign so I was still positive about this evening. Should not have been. Food arrived with cold chips and rice and without the salad I have ordered. Nobody came back to check on us or even nobody was around so we ate the meat with some cold chips. It was lovely.
Then our waiter came cleaned the table without any question or conversation. We would have liked another wine and dessert but because he never came back we have decided it’s better to leave. I went to the bar to pay and of course I was charged for the salad...I have asked to be taken off and I payed the bill. The exact amount which I hate doing but nobody can expect any tip after this service! The waiter had the kill you look but sorry mate this is one of the worst experiences Ive had in along time! You lost so much business as we have just arrived and was looking for a good restaurant to use with our friends.

Very friendly Hotel

We stayed 4 nights for a family wedding. The arrival was very friendly and without trouble. The rooms are very comfortable and clean with the use of a fridge. There is an inside and outside restaurant which are both lovely places to eat. The food is really good and freshly cooked. Breakfast is some self service then cooked ordered to staff. We had the wedding reception at the Hotel, the whole experience was amazing, the staff were very understanding of English. A 10 minute walk along the river to the town centre. We will definitely stay again !

Not to expensive, but very bad

We just been visited this evening this restaurant, and we are very dissapointed.
We went to celebrate our anniversery with whole family.
We want to go a good place, and because the previous review, thats why we choosed this restaurant,
The area was lovley, but that was the only good place.
The staff who was served us, unhelpfull, ignoring us, food wasn,t good and really dry,the food wasn,t looked, who post a be,only my brother fish food was good.
We have to go to somewhere us for dessert, because the staff who post a be serving us , was nowhere.
So go different restaurant, this place isn't go, also I started feeling sick, after I was eated here.I been few place is before, and this time very dissapointed.
