We had a really wonderful stay here! The property is absolutely beautiful and has such a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere.
Our room was great, and the breakfast they served in the morning was superb, definitely a highlight of the stay.
What really made the experience special was the hospitality. The owner is extremely friendly and welcoming. We were lucky enough to chat with her for a good amount of time, and getting to know her was an absolute treat.
It’s a beautiful place to unwind, and the staff’s warmth makes you feel right at home.

The best place for a few-days chill
A nice country-style Family-owned hotel near by Eger.
Good foods, awesome courtyard with pool and park, shady bar and chill-place next to the pool. :-)

Umpteenth visit :)
Sadly only stayed one night, but the Nomad is back, and at its pre-Covid best.
Barbara and Sany were their usual welcoming selves, I had an excellent supper and enjoyed the forest walks around the village.
As usual, breakfast was magnificent, how do they do it every time ?
What more can one ask ?

Magical countryside stay
This hotel is the definition of shabby chic. The hotel grounds are very pastoral, though it’s located in a quaint village so there is a convenience store very close by. We stayed in one of the “Molly bungalows” which was a 2 floor cottage - fully equipped kitchenette, bathroom, and living room with a pellet stove on the ground floor, and 2 bedrooms upstairs. The cabin has a very “lived-in” feel to it, but that’s part of the charm. For a couple it was spacious and gave a nice feeling of coziness, but it could perfectly accommodate 4 adults. It had a nice porch and balcony and since it was set about 150 meters away from the hotel/restaurant it afforded a great feeling of privacy and quiet. (We could park our car right in front of the cottage). We had some cloudy days/rain during our stay, and were perfectly content to just stay and relax in the house.
In the summer months it looks like it would be a lot of fun to hang around by the pool and bar area, and the cabins have hammocks or sitting areas on the porch.
EVERYONE on the staff was extremely nice and friendly and had good English. They were also very helpful, giving us wood for a fire pit next to the cottage, and finding out where we could do a PCR test. The selling point of the hotel, besides the general vibe, is the catering. We definitely had the best meals of our entire trip here. On our first morning since it was at low occupancy, in lieu of the usual buffet we were greeted with a table laid out with a generous breakfast spread, everything freshly made with local ingredients - savory spreads and jams, meats and cheeses, pastries and bread, and eggs cooked to order. For dinner their menu changes every night, but includes a soup course, 3 entrees to choose from, and a dessert. Again, everything was fresh and the recipes felt creative.
We wish we had been able to stay for a couple more days enjoying the food and environment, and were sad to leave.

Hidden Treasure Chest
If you are looking for a place to unwind away from the hustle and bustle, there is no better place than Nomad. We booked one of the bungalow up in the hill which offered plenty of space for the five of us. Breakfast was served in the main hotel building just a few minute walk away. The place is picturesque so we didn't mind the short stroll breathing in the crisp mountain air. The 5 course tasting menu is out of this world, cooked in rustic home style - make sure you don't miss it. The hotel also offers a casual bar by the outdoor pool and plenty little gems to discover in Noszvaj. Thank you for making us feel like part of the family, can't wait to come back.
