Absolute relaxation

Returning after a stay in Budapest we stopped one night in this lovely location and we really enjoyed our short stay .... Very quiet and peaceful place, nice and clean room, friendly staff, tasty food in typical Hungarian style. I would say it is a great choice for those looking for a pleasant place to rest while enjoying the various services offered. Note of merit: despite arriving close to the closing time of the restaurant they kept the kitchen open and waiters available to allow us to have lunch. It doesn't happen often! Spa of Heviz. I can only positively recommend the Hotel Batthyany Kuria.

Fantastic wellness hotel & apartmant near to Balaton

This is the second year we spent a few days, a week here with family. Apartmans are fully furnitured, comfortable beds, excellent wellness service (pools and saunas), good kitchen, beautiful buildings in an amazing garden. Best solution near to Balaton for any cases of the variable weather of Balaton, as we know. There is a pool outside in the garden, and there are some pools and jacuzzis inside the spa section. Very good restaurant for reasonable price, nice staff.

Cosy, lovely and pleasant

We were planning to stay in the countryside In the Zala region and found this lovely estate. The scenery is charming and well kept. You can immediately notice that they work hard to make the premises delightful. The dinner was well prepared and also had Hungarian dishes, which were not too spicy. The wines we tried were not only fine, but also served as they should be- the white ones were chilled and the red ones at a room temperature - congratulations to the maker Cezar as well). The personnel is trying their best with the language barriers and you can communicate in English or in German. The rooms have everything a 4 star hotel should have - maybe only slippers in the room would be recommended. The furniture is modern, but natural materials were used, which gives a cozy atmosphere. The view to anywhere from the hotel is a rest for sore eyes, the pools have heated water, the access to the wellness is easy and their is a mini golf area as well as a beautiful lawn connecting the two Batthyany hotels.

A Place to Have a Party

Our second visit was an extra event. Celebrating a birthday with a group of people that are dear to you - this is the right spot. The staff was excellently prepared and the whole event supervised by Adrienn. The accommodation was superb, well taken care of and cozy at the same time. The chef did his best with preparing a special menu for the whole time we were there - a gourmet dinner, the midnight gulaž, little treats in between and the beverage package had excellent wine to complement the food. Beer lovers were also able to get beer on the tap and the guests who preferred soft drinks had a wide range of choice. Reka - the head of the restaurant kept an eye open till the early hours so that noone was left without a drink or piece of cake.

From golf to Mansion

We spent 5 days in Zalacsány to taste golf there. We arrive in the late afternoon and we found our hotel Batthyány Kúria – Manson closed. The gate to the park closed by heavy chain. Nearby in the Batthyány Castle staff mentioned some accident and they offered a very nice superior room for us, unpleasantly in the second floor without a lift. The Castle was very nice, look as a newly renovated. Next day after the first round of golf we visited the already open Batthyány Kúria and our decision was simple – to move there.
Kúria in comparison with the Castle looks as a chateau farmhouse. Our room was in the grand floor, spacious, divided in three rooms –bedroom, living room and space with private Jacuzzi. A small and charming restaurant with great Hungarian food, mostly for meat lovers. Lovely bar with terrace, overlooking carefully maintained park. Really pleasant staff added value to this very nice place, situated only few minutes from the Zala Springs golf and on the edge of small town Zalacsány.
