A Cozy Guesthouse with Truly Welcoming Hosts
A very nice and cozy guesthouse. The hosts are friendly and welcoming, the food is excellent, and the rooms are clean and comfortable, with everything you need for a pleasant stay. The shower water has no unpleasant smell, there is no mold at all, the air conditioning works perfectly, and the bed linen is spotless. There is also a hairdryer and a TV, both in good working order.
There is a small swimming pool, swings, sun loungers, and fast Wi-Fi with good coverage throughout the property. We were welcomed with complimentary drinks, checked in quickly, and served a delicious meal.
I highly recommend this guesthouse — they truly make you feel welcome here!

Sands Garden, amazing place!
Sands Garden Hotel is a beautiful place.
Tom is amazing, he truly made me feel at home. He is friendly, professional, incredibly helpful, and very welcoming.
The hotel has a very nice terrace where you can enjoy the view of the village and have breakfast or dinner in a cozy atmosphere.
The location is also very central, close to restaurants, markets, and beaches.
I had a great snorkeling experience in Thoddoo. I absolutely love this island: it has everything I was looking for: nature, lots of greenery, amazing beaches, and a peaceful atmosphere.
My favorite place in the Maldives

Great hotel on Toddoo
Sands Garden Thoddoo Guesthouse
We relaxed in this hotel together with our son from December 10 to 20.
The rest was great. First of all, thank you very much for the warm welcome to the entire hotel team (4 people in total). All the employees treated us like long-time favorite friends. Always with a smile, in a good mood, they rushed to help us and satisfy our requests.
We were picked up at the port and taken by electric car to a hotel. The hotel welcomed the welcome drinks in decorated coconuts, helped connect the internet and immediately escorted them to the room. The room was gorgeous, as in the promotional photos, the beds were decorated with flowers and welcoming signs. That's very nice. The manager, Tom, gave us a mini tour of the island in an electric car (showing us where the beaches, shops, restaurants are). In the evening, we had a welcome dinner with huge baked fish. Everything is delicious and beautiful.
I liked everything in the room – the internet was fast, the air conditioning worked perfectly, there was always hot water, comfortable mattresses. There is also a safe, mini fridge, ceiling fan, TV (with YouTube, Netflix and more), teapot, cups, coffee and sugar, daily put 2 large bottles of water, there is a balcony and dryer for things. In general, there was everything you needed for a comfortable holiday. What may be unusual is a small open storage cabinet (rail with hangers and open shelves), as well as an Asian-style shower with no restrictions (water flows throughout the bathroom), but thanks to ventilation and air conditioning everything dries quickly.
The pool was working when we arrived, but we didn't use it, I can't describe it in detail.
The hotel has a very good cook. If you are lucky and there are few guests - breakfasts will be on the menu (continental breakfast, Maldivian breakfast, pancakes, toast, muesli, several kinds of omelet) additionally serve fruit, juice and coffee, restaurant service, will have to wait, as they are cooked in your presence. When there are many guests - breakfast buffet, not so varied, but everything is delicious and fresh. Dinners are also great, including a starter (salad or soup or sandwiches (without choice), a few main courses to choose from (chicken, fish, seafood, meat, side by side - noodles, potatoes or rice) and a conclusion - dessert (something creamy or mousse or fruit salad (without choice).
If you have a birthday, the entire hotel team will congratulate you with a huge candle cake. It was very unexpected and nice!
We had an early departure, the manager, Tom walked us to the port for a speedbot, they gave us lunch boxes (tuna sandwiches and fruit).
The room was cleaned every day, the towels were changed every day. Beach towels give out. The bathroom has shower gel and shampoo.
Guest is located in the center of the village near the police station, hospital and shops. Both mosques are close, too. Dawn beach is 7 minutes away, sunset is 15 minutes away. You can rent bikes ($5 per day), then get to the beaches even faster. Go around the island in a circle - 35-40 minutes.
Todd was wearing mosquitoes when we arrived, sometimes flying into his room, so it's best to bring mosquito repellent and a fumigator.
In general, what I liked the most was the attitude of the staff, everyone does with great love for guests, kindly, unobtrusively. Thank you so much!

Nice hotel on the most tropical island of Maldives!
The hotel is nice and with a good location just 2 minutes walk from the main streets. Our room with terrace was comfortable and spacious. The common spaces are cozy, ideal for relaxing or having a drink at sunset. The hotel also has a swimming pool, which comes very well for cooling off. Ahmed and Pasindu were very friendly and helped make our stay in Thodoo amazing. Rent bikes at a great price and is a great option to explore the island. One of its strengths is the kitchen. Pathum prepares spectacular dishes, very careful and with fresh quality produce. We did with them the half day tour and it was very good! We saw manta rays, sharks, stopped on a beautiful sandbank and snorkeled in a coral garden with lots of fish. The beaches of Thodoo are wonderful, with amazing tone waters. In addition, in the bikini beach you can snorkel with dozens of turtles and thousands of fish just a few meters from the sand. The vibe of the island is very tropical, with walks full of palm trees. Shame to leave Thodoo! I wish I could come back soon!
