Cleanliness: The unit was poorly maintained. Toilets were dirty, floors were sticky, fungus was visible on the room parquet flooring, and both the yard and balcony were filthy.
Sleeping Arrangements: The bed was the worst part. Bedsheets and the mattress cover were stained and unhygienic. Thankfully, I had brought my own bedding, otherwise sleeping here would have been unbearable.
Kitchen Facilities: The kettle was broken, the microwave was dirty, and the sinks were in poor condition.
Supplies: Despite booking for 4 days and 3 nights, only a single roll of toilet paper was provided—barely enough for one night.
Common Areas: The parking area was dusty, elevators smelled bad, and security was questionable, with guards only present at the ground floor for car registration.
Only Positive: The view of Butterworth town, Penang Straits, and the island was the sole redeeming feature of this stay.
Overall, this property is far from acceptable. For anyone considering this homestay, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere for a cleaner, safer, and better-maintained option—even for a short stay.
