Awesome Hotel with a fantastic view - perfect for a visit at KL
Absolutely beautiful hotel with a wonderful room right in the heart of the city. The staff were incredibly friendly, and the location was a dream. The sky bar at night is an absolute must — the view over Kuala Lumpur’s skyline is simply breathtaking.

Extremely Disappointing Service & Poor Customer Care
Extremely disappointing experience, starting with the reception. The staff were dismissive, unprofessional, and completely unhelpful when I came to ask for a solution. My room was also not cleaned despite keeping the “Please Make Up My Room” sign on and specifically requesting twice-daily cleaning. Very poor customer service and far below the standard expected from a hotel like this.

Ascott Star KLCC delivers exactly what it promises: some of the best Petronas Twin Towers views in Kuala Lumpur, especially from high-floor rooms and the 57th‑floor rooftop infinity pool, which feels like the crowning jewel of the stay. The apartment-style rooms are spacious, modern, and very clean, offering great value for money in such a prime KLCC location within walking distance of Suria KLCC and the towers. Between the breathtaking skyline views, the “insane” rooftop pool experience, and the overall quality of the stay, this place feels like a luxury hotel at a very reasonable price and easily deserves a top rating
