Very upset with front desk staff not giving proper information about parking. My booking was included free parking but during check in staff was told that no free parking for my booking package and ask to park jockey pay rm50 or open parking per entry RM5…
This is unacceptable behaviour of front desk staff who duty.. have no choice, have to park open parking and pay rm5..
then have to walk to hotel room. Luckily no rain that day..

The Apple Premier Suites, Melaka
The Apple Premier Suites looks quite impressive as you drive up to its main entrance. It is located next to The Courtyard by Marriott.
The guards were very helpful and friendly and allowed us to park our car in front of the main entrance while we check in. The reception desk is rather small and located on the left side as you walk in. The receptionist was very courteous and proceeded with our check-in seamlessly. She said she will be there until 2 am. There was a refundable RM150 deposit required before she gave us our keys.
However, the parking lot, which is on the 3A level was quite empty although well lit. We were quite worried and felt uncomfortable as we made our way to the lift area. The lifts were good though but the passage to our rooms were deserted and we were quite scared to be honest. There were 2 iron grille gates when we came to the rooms area. One to the right wing and one to the left wing.
The rooms on the left wing are a bit more expensive and bigger and are good for 3 people. It has one queen and one single bed. The single bed is quite comfortable. The view is also good, overlooking the pool and also the city!
It has a huge, rather nice bathroom with a bathtub and is between the bedroom and the kitchen. The bathroom is probably bigger or the same size as the room. The kitchen is also good enough and has a mini fridge and seating.
Overall, we really can’t complain much for the price we paid. It is value for money but I would not recommend it if you are traveling alone.

“Unwanted guess” playing outside
I recently stayed at Apple Residence Premium and had a mixed experience.
On the first night, I was assigned a studio unit on the 9th floor, located very close to the lift. Unfortunately, the stay was quite uncomfortable. After midnight, I began hearing repeated loud noises coming from outside the unit, near the small veranda area where cleaning tools (broom and mop) were kept. The sounds were intermittent but persistent enough to be unsettling, especially at that hour.
The disturbance continued for quite some time, which affected my ability to rest. I eventually managed through the night, but the experience was far from pleasant. By morning, the noise subsided.
On the following night, I returned earlier and tried to create a more calming environment before midnight. While the noise did not recur as strongly, there was still a lingering sense of unease.
Separately, I later realized that the property is located near Bukit China, with a visible view of the cemetery from the unit. While this may not be an issue for everyone, it did add to the discomfort for me personally.
In terms of amenities, the unit was also quite basic — notably, there were no complimentary coffee or tea facilities provided, which is something I would normally expect.
Overall, the property may be suitable for short stays, but due to the noise disturbance, location discomfort, and limited amenities, it did not meet my expectations. I would likely not choose to stay here again.

The apartment is big n clean just that there is a foul smell from master room toilet.
Provided toothbrush n bedroom slippers.
Only 4 lifts hence check out time the lifts always packed.
Need to deposit rm$150. Check out will refund.
