Enjoyable

I researched for hours & found this little gem. Not overpriced, clean & modern compared to others. The location was perfect, far enough away from the busy town. We stayed in room 5 which is perfect to watch the sunset. The host went above & beyond for us to decorate & organise a birthday cake. The water surrounding was clean & the new waterslide was a hit with the kids! Starfish & turtles everywhere!!
The food was good but repetitive. If you like seafood you will love it. Locals sell fresh seafood daily & the chef will happily cook it up for you. The language barrier was helped by communicating through whatsapp to translate. Island tours were booked easy through the resort. Fresh donuts & tea were waiting when we got back everyday which was a treat. Sups, kayaks & snorkelling gear were available to use.
Tips- Check in & check out depends on the tide so be mindful when booking transfers/flights. There is not much to do in Semporna town itself & it is filthy. Pack a beach towel, buy snacks/alcohol in town & bring cash. They are currently in the process of building five new chalets which will be beautiful when finished.

Best, kindest, nicest staff on the world

These staff will do everything for you to enjoy your stay and not starve. Good food, and afternoon donts were fantastic, okay rooms, but the place is perfect and close to all the islands .
