From 1st January 2023, a tourist tax of RM 10 per room per night is applied to all foreign guests. This tax is not included in the room rate and must be paid upon check-in. Guests with a valid Malaysian Identity Card or valid permanent residents MY PR Card are exempted. Guests have to take a boat transfer from Kuala Besut Jetty to Perhentian Island, where Flora Bay 1 is located. Most of the boat operators are not licensed and they will wait for a minimum of 12 passengers to fill one boat before ferrying them to the island There are no specific timings from Kuala Besut Jetty to Perhentian Island. Ferry starts operating from 08:00 - 16:00. Ferry timings from Perhentian Island to Kuala Besut Jetty are at 08:00, 12:00 and 16:00.
A Marine Park Conservation Fee will be charged as follows: For Malaysian passport/ID holders, MYR 5 per adult, MYR 2 per child aged 6 to 12 years and senior citizen aged 60 and above, MYR 0 for child aged 5 years and below and disabled guests. For non-Malaysian passport holders, MYR 30 per adult, MYR 15 per child aged 6 to 12 years and senior citizen aged 60 and above, MYR 0 for child aged 5 years and below and disabled guests.
It is prohibited to bring durian and mangosteen to the hotel.
