a warm friendly welcome off chriss reception a true gentleman all staff amazing go above and beyond r stay waz made exceptional from all friendly staff house keeping staff keep ur rooms clean high standards also change towels most days the only criticism we had no balcony in rm 204 lack of storage space in room overwise had an amazing stay certainly will be returning mike@tom st helens 13th June 2026 2 weeks love roof top pool and bar also harbour and ferries close by reasonable prices also near to great reastraunts

While the Standard Courtyard Room you booked is one of our more compact room categories and does not feature a balcony, for additional space and a balcony, we believe our Superior City View Rooms would be an excellent choice for a future stay.

Ocean view, pool & warm staff
We stayed at the hotel as a family (with teenagers) for 15 nights. The check-in and check-out were friendly, fast, and unproblematic.
At the beginning, we had bad luck with the neighbors for two days. After we explained what was problematic, the reception immediately offered support, which fortunately was not necessary.
Basically, everything is available at the breakfast buffet to start the day well. What we would have liked was some plain yogurt more often. In fairness, I must say that we did not ask for it when there was none. I suspect they would have taken care of it...
The staff at the breakfast buffet was always friendly. That also applies to the reception and the rooftop bar. We were up there quite often for a sundowner and also snacked on the really delicious fries.
The pool is not huge, but it was always enough to cool off a bit. Except for one time out of maybe 6, the four of us always found a place to lie down up there.
We had a room with a (real) ocean view on the 8th. Floor. The storage space was smaller compared to our city view rooms, but it was also sufficient. Whenever we used room service, everything was always tip-top.
We had a rental car (Toyota Yaris). I would not recommend a larger car. You will have to look a bit for a parking space. However, we never had to walk longer than 4 minutes. For the trip to and from the airport, we additionally had an Uber/Bolt. Costs between 20 and 40€. Four people and luggage do not fit in a Yaris :-)
Overall, this is a super price-performance ratio. The staff is top-notch and always friendly. Surely as a German you can always find something to complain about, but we didn't feel like doing that! :-)

Can’t praise the staff enough
I think the staff are where this place has shined from reception to the cleaning staff. All have been great. Can’t think of anything to fault them for. Place is clean. Breakfast well presented. Someone always there to help… (although pulling out some toast that was stuck with metal tongues… a tad worrying) decent view from the rooftop pool. Nicer at night time.

One night stay in St Pauls Bay
My dad and I stayed at ibis Styles St. Paul's Bay for one night and had a very enjoyable experience. The hotel was modern, clean, and well-maintained, with comfortable rooms and friendly staff. The location was convenient for exploring the local area and enjoying the waterfront. Check-in was quick and easy, and the facilities were excellent for a short stay. Overall, it offered great value for money, and we would happily stay here again when visiting Malta.

Excellent hotel
A lovely clean hotel, close to restaurants, bars,shops and bus station.
Very friendly and hard working staff......the two we dealt with the most was David at reception and Robert in the dining room.
Great selection of hot and cold food for breakfast to cater for all tastes.
Excellent hotel....would definitely recommend.
Would advise upper floors with sea views
