Gymnastics Competition
We have just returned from a great trip to Malta, after reading a previous review we were quite concerned about this Hostel but we're very pleasantly surprised. The rooms were clean, beds were comfortable and plenty of space for multiple kids in a room. The food was basic but nice and one night when we were late back due to a competition they made our kids rice and pasta to come back to.
If you go expecting a hotel you might be disappointed but if you go expecting a hostel I think you'll be nicely surprised. We took 11 gymnasts of different ages and those who have stayed away with school trips said this was the best accommodation for a this type of trip away.

Never ever again!!!
We stayed here as a group of parents and children as part of the gymnastics competition in the attached gym.We understood it to be basic but clean -and I've done basic but clean many times but this certainly wasn't that!!! One of our group was given the key to her room when she arrived and found a man using her bathroom -he said it was his room and had a key. The lady felt unsafe and moved her and her daughter in with myself and my children. One of the men in the hotel was witnessed dropping his wallet by one of our gymnasts one of the mums took it to reception and was then accused of stealing from it! This also happened to another group in the place.
The place was dirty in fact filthy- we took our children to eat in the dining area the table clothes were black when we wiped them down. The food has hairs in it. Bathrooms were appalling (see pictures). There was practically no hot water so most showers were in the freezing cold -not great when it rained nearly all weekend. The kitchens were unusable you wouldn't store anything in them.
We have all returned home with bites- some having seen red ants in the beds many had what looked like flea bites or some other little or big creature.
Many lone men in the hostel made us feel a little uncomfortable meaning I wouldn't want to have my child here alone with just coaches!security was non existent -no doors locked etc. The lone men on our floor were playing music all night meaning another one of our group moved to share with another mum and child. I didn't like the fact there were gymnasts groups on their own with coaches on another floor and lone men in rooms opposite but that's only my opinion. Naively I thought that the hotel would only have been frequented by gymnasts on the weekend that we were there.
The competition itself however was fabulous well organised and an enjoyable experience so next time it's a 4 star down the road!!!

good gest hause
I have stayed in this hotel in 2 time.In first time i lived here near 3 mouns,and in second near 2 week.Good gest hause , nice price and nice staff.This hotel is not so far to airport and to the capital of Malta

Quality = price.
Nice, cheap place with wonderful stuff! They are very friendly and helpful. There are free wi-fi spots on each level and you can still use it for free staying in the room. 15 minutes on the bus to get to Valletta. Situated close to such nice places as Chinese Gardens and Tarxien Themples.

Perfect Location
Spent 6 days here on business and can't fault Bowyer House excellent location, Excellent pool, nice clean place to stay. Tarxien is a lovely village/town, the buses are regular and cheap, although the 82 bus get busy heading for Birzebbuga on the coast. Bowyer House comes highly recommended
