Riad des Vieilles Charrues is a true hidden gem! Our stay was absolutely amazing from start to finish.
​The hospitality provided by Aziza, Said, and their wonderful staff was second to none. They are incredible hosts who make you feel completely at home with their warmth and professional service.
​The Food: Simply exceptional. Every meal was fresh, authentic, and delicious.
​The Vibe: The Riad itself is stunning—peaceful, beautiful, and perfectly maintained.
​If you want top-tier service and a beautiful atmosphere, this is the place to be. We can't wait to come back!

Magic!

We stayed one night in this Riad, which was one of the best nights of the stay. We were wonderfully well received by the owners, and we even had a little after-dinner concert, which will remain one of my best travel memories. I recommend with confidence and without hesitation!

Family Riad with Moroccan decor

Beautiful Riad with a beautiful large pool and beautiful terrace with mountain views. Comfortable and very clean room with air conditioning. Childhood home of the owner which was transformed into Riad for tourists. Very warm Welcoming of the manager and owner. Dinner 5 very hearty and delicious services.

Charming riad reminiscent of a bygone era with gorgeous view on Mount Atlas

We arrived late afternoon and stayed 1 night. The Riad prides itself on its welcoming nature. You immediately feel part of the scenery. Staff is attentive. There are lots of terraces with views on Mount Atlas where you can sip your tea with Moroccan cakes whilst enjoying the scenery or reading a book. If you like an aperitif or wine with your dinner, you can have some white or red wine. The wine is from Casablanca and is a good choice by the owner. Hishmal explained us that he is part of the Amazigh tribe who are known to be tolerant. It shows. There is a profound respect of culture. Whilst we were hesitant as we do not want to upset people by disregarding their culture, they accepted us for who we are. A beautiful lesson in tolerance and respect. Dinner is served at 8pm in the dining room. Tables are beautifully set for each family who stay in the riad. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious. If you want to get to know Morocco, this is a good place to start.

Authentic experience in the mountains

We were warmly welcomed, with snacks and tea. Our room was very spacious, and thanks to the air conditioning also warm. No hot water came out of the shower, but we were allowed to use the shower in another (smaller) room. The Tajin was excellent, we also enjoyed the musical performance of Berber music. The staff was very friendly and accommodating at all.
