Friendly, helpful staff - and not too close to the medina!
The holy month of Ramadan is a noisy time to visit Morocco! We were pleased to be a ten minute walk from the medina - and even then we were woken at 3am by lads beating drums, 5am by the call to prayer, 6am by the local cockerel crowing his heart out.
This riad is very clean, with super-friendly, helpful staff. The rooms have air con that you can set to any temperature you fancy, but in chilly March the cleaning staff were turning it off during the day and leaving the balcony door open to air the room!
The stairways and breakfast room were unheated, so we wore layers when outside our room.
Breakfast was generous - typical of Moroccan guest houses. Pain au chocolat, omelette, yogurt, bread, cheese and conserves.
All in all a great place to stay if you’re not looking to spend too much. Three nights for just under €134.

Not bad.
We had booked family suite but on arrival I ended up with 2 separate rooms so I had to return between my room and that of my daughters.
At breakfast I was disappointed I expected a ftour chamali so it's normal ftour.
The location at the extension of the city so you have to be motorized to go to rass lma,outa hmam...

No running
Not at all what it says. Guest house. Just room homestay joke ....the sheets are elite with hole .No pillowcase .!!!! No toothed glass .light on terrace that does not work .two hangers!!!! Bedside lamp break.!!! I made quite a few Guest House as are name the clue but really there it is not top.impossible to dine in the evening they make delivered meals '..... for cash payment no credit card. And the relatio.el does not exist. Clean this is normal ..... that is not all in the criteria. No breakfast before leaving too early for them .7h30 .you see .and more very eccentric.

Very bad and it very badly positioned
The welcome arriving not great by the receptionist , and the room offers so-called a suite with kitchen without fridge or dishes and dirty terrace with chair with hole for the rate it is not just bed linen with hair and blanket standby that smelled bad!! That's not nice! The only positive is the excellent pet"already service and the very nice breakfast staff the lady otherwise the rest null I will not come back!!!!

Establishment to avoid
Following our reservation confirmed by the establishment, we traveled all the way from Tangier to Chefchaouen, arriving in front of the residence at 2 p.m., the lady at reception told us that there was a plumbing problem in the room and they can't find a plumber so no rental and we have to look for another mission impossible solution during school holidays in Morocco from April 29 to May 5. (we were offered a room in a house guest house for the same price with shower and toilet to share with on the landing (great proposal).
The breakdown is known when unscrupulous establishments rent to the highest bidder during peak periods.
after several attempts without result, we left the city to drive all evening to return to Casablanca, we will perhaps have the opportunity to visit Chefchaouen another time, hoping not to have to deal with this type of crooked establishment (clarification in the description they announce free parking, in fact it's the sidewalk of the street, not even a location!!!!!.
