Great location in the Medina

It’s a bit of a walk from the taxi drop off and you really need to keep an eye out for the sign. It’s up quite high. The riad is nice with lovely outdoor terrace and bright common room for the included breakfast. The rooms are small but clean and comfortable.

Poor service and inconsistent rooms quality

We booked a few rooms for our group, Suite Rabat (the one on the top level) is definitely the best, the rest are of different quality. One of the room which has been described as having air conditioning on booking.com actually don’t have air conditioning and it’s quite stuffy as there is no air circulation.
The top level dining and balcony is really nice to relax and hangout. nice view from the balcony.
The staff is rude and lack any care factor. This is the first hotel we stayed in Morocco and got us really concerned if we get this type of service in Morocco for the whole trip. Luckily this was the only blip we had!
This hotel is not accessible by our van, you’ll have to organise luggage transfer yourself (as the staff at reception didn’t care!), and when you get there you’ll have to carry your own luggage up to your own room.

Fair value for a low price

Quite simple hotel, some rooms are a lot nicer than others, great location, wonderful rooftop terrace with stunning view of city and surounding mountains, service ok for this type of hotel, very friendly staff, limited language skills.
We stayed in room 6 which has the advantage of having two seperate bedrooms with two beds each (one with two single beds, the other with a small double bed and a single) but the disadvantage of having no windows to the outside, so a bit depressing with very little daylight coming done a narrow shaft. Number 5 is nicer with a window and several beds. Rooms 7 and 8 can be combined into a suite, 7 has no window, 8 does, both with only one bedroom. Number 9 is probably your best option since it is on the top floor and has a window overlooking the city, right next to the terrace. There is a little kitchen where you can order tea, soft drinks and sandwiches.
Location is great in the middle of the old part of town. Bathrooms are functional and clean.

Wonderful riad in the cutest blue city!

This riad was absolutely wonderful! The staff and the owner's father were lovely. The woman who made our breakfast was very friendly and the facilities were clean and comfortable. Great location in Chefchaouen - close to everything! They also held our bags for the day after check-out and provided us with great info, a map and good advice for exploring.

Simple, chaleureux et agréable

My wife and I stayed at the Rifandalus Riad for one night and the only regret that we have is that we did not spend more time there !
Do not expect to have huge buffet during breakfast, do not expect a swimming pool and spa, you should not expect neither a buttler or a concierge. But what we found there was even better. All the staff that we had the chance to meet there were genuinly welcoming and nice with us and we truly felt like they were welcoming us in their home.
We spent our nigt in the Rabat Suite, the best one according to one of the receptionnist and we were not disapointed at all. The Suite was cosy and we had an incredible view over the Medina and the mountains.
The day we'll come again in Chaouen we will definately come here again.
And a special thanks to the lady at the reception (sorry I forgot her name) !
