a little gem

a little gem made with love where the owners are available, friendly and smile. go there especially if you are a solo kiter like me to discover the city in a family atmosphere. I'm going back there in December already because I enjoyed Dakhla and this hotel so much.

Best Choice of Accommodations in Dakhla

Words cannot describe how happy and satisfied we were with our visit to this lovely Riad. The marvelous owner personally came to the airport with her private car to meet us and transfer us quickly to the property without any waste of time. She made sure we had all the information we needed for our stay. The rooms in the riad are absolutely gorgeous, well maintained with just the right decorations to make you feel you are at home in a special place. The breakfast is generous and made to order, and the view of sunrise over the ocean during breakfast is a big plus. We cannot wait to return to Dakhla and repeat this experience. Thank you very much to the lovely owners.

The best place to stay in Dakhla

We stayed in Dar el Oro and enjoyed every minute of it. The place is located right on the seashore with amazing view of the lagoon. The lady owner Fatima is sweet and caring, and furnishes you with all the information you need. The rooms are spacious and super clean and have all the necessary amenities. Breakfast is fabulous and fresh and pick up and drop off at the airport are free of charge. What else can you ask for? Highly highly recommended!!

Fabulous base in Dakhla

I stayed in Dar Rio Oro for 10 nights in December 2019. It was a very welcoming place run by Fatima and Phillipe, with flexibility and humour. Beautifully decorated, wonderfully situated, with staff who bent over backwards to help, it is situated right in the centre of Dakhla and is a good base of operations. Two of us used it as a base to explore the wildlife of the surrounding desert. We were gone by 11:00am and often did not get back until after 1:00am, but there was never a problem, as Uthman was always there to let us in. Great view over the lagoon in Dakhla. Highly recommended for any time spent in Dakhla.
