Small oasis in Essaouira

I spent a week there in the DAR 91 studio, I thought it was wonderful and would book it again anytime I return to Essaouira. The apartment is furnished with a lot of sense of detail, it is very clean, and I always had a contact person... the atmosphere is warm. The location I found perfect, it is located in a quiet street on the edge of the medina, but still central,

Lovely stay in Essaouira

Great little apartment in a perfect location right in the medina. Easy to find as well which is a bonus. Apartment was well equipped, clean and perfect size for us as a couple. It is close by to some great food and shopping and close to attractions.

A dreamy home from home

We absolutely loved our stay here in the 2 bed apartment. The roof terrace gives you a view of the sea and the rooftops across the town and is a great spot to just breathe in the lovely sea-air. The decor of the apartments is gorgeous and there's lots of lovely art to enjoy. Halima is a dream and brings you a delicious bite to eat in the morning. The kitchen is perfect for cooking so if you want to pop down the fish-market and enjoy with a bottle of yummy Moroccan wine on the terrace you won't regret it! Jeremy and Paolo are really helpful and welcoming hosts. The location is perfect and as you're on the wall it's easy to find again if you get a bit lost on the first night. Just a lovey, easy and relaxing stay. Hope to be back again in the not too distant future!

Artistic and welcoming

We recently stayed at dar 91 in the studio apartment. We really enjoyed our visit, and appreciated the electric blanket, heater and cooking equipment. The place is very eclectically decorated which we enjoyed and both Jeremy and Paolo made us feel very welcome. Their colleague also kindly cleaned our clothes which was much appreciated.
The view from the roof terrace is really breath taking but we were allowed access as the bigger flat was empty so this isn’t to be expected if you book the studio.
If you have young kids or find stairs difficult it probably isn’t the place for you, this isn’t a criticism but an observation. However, it was perfect for us as a couple and allowed us a slice of authentic essoaria as it’s located in the medina away from the stretch of hostels and riads.

Wonderful Place

Don't know where to start really - what a lovely lovely place. Amazing location in the medina, and a really beautiful apartment with lovely art around.
Great place to explore. I loved the roof terrace! I cooked most evenings too and the kitchen was fabulous.
Jeremy and Paolo were really really helpful with where to go and what to do.
It was my first time in Morocco and I felt so welcome.
I stayed a week and still don't feel like I've finished exploring.
I'll be back!
