Very pleasant stay

We were very well received by Youssef. The riad is very nice, the room nice and comfortable.
Breaks were appreciated on the roof terrace. The ideal location to stroll in the medina or go out on the harbor.

From the entrance you are in the Moroccan atmosphere. Typical and warm room. Simple but very clean bathroom. Hearty breakfast. No catering. Attention, not suitable for people with reduced mobility (steep stairs). Friendly welcome and super correct rate. 00212 626 02 79 26.

A hidden gem in Essaouira

From the moment we arrived at Dar Halima, we felt right at home. This beautiful riad is truly an oasis of calm in the vibrant medina. The atmosphere is warm, authentic, and full of character – every detail has been carefully considered.
The rooms are spacious, tastefully decorated, and spotlessly clean. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the shower was great, and it’s clear that a lot of attention has been paid to guests’ comfort. One of our favourite spots was the rooftop terrace: in the mornings we enjoyed a fresh, generous breakfast there, and in the evenings we watched the sunset with a cup of mint tea.
What really sets Dar Halima apart is the hospitality. The owner and host created such a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere that we truly felt at home. He gave us wonderful tips for local restaurants and places to visit, and his kindness and care made a big impression on us. A heartfelt thank you for making our stay so special – it was exactly the kind of experience we had hoped for.
The location is perfect: tucked away in a quiet corner of the medina, but still just a short walk from the main streets, the harbour, and the beach.
In short: Dar Halima is an absolute must for anyone looking for charm, comfort, and warm, personal service in the heart of Essaouira. We will definitely be back!

Fabulous riad, location and wonderful host!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Dar Halima, Yasser and Fatima were the perfect hosts, very welcoming and kind making us feel very much at home from the onset. Breakfast was delicious and abundant with the lovely addition of fresh roses on every table.
The rooms in this beautiful riad set in the heart of the Medina were absolutely gorgeous, Fatima was up early each day working hard making sure everything was clean.
The only small negative was that the bed was a tad firm but it would NOT stop us from visiting again!
A big warm thank you to Yasser and Fatima from the bottom of our hearts, we our already definitely missing our fun conversations with you Yasser “Assalamu-Alikum" السلام عليكم

Well-being and serenity

Warm and family welcome which does not exclude rigor and quality. We stayed there for a week, a very nice experience in a magnificent and perfectly decorated place. Ideally located in the heart of the Mediana.
