Wonderful Dinner in the Medina

I was just there for dinner. Couscous with chicken & vegetables-sooo delicious.

Lovely traditional house just inside the medina with excellent service and good food, would use it again

Sofane and Yosef are excellent hosts and always attentive and patient. The food is very good - indeed people were visiting from other riads for evening meals on the lovely rooftop. The house is a traditional Moroccan medina design with colourful mosaics and fabrics and solid woodwork - and the rooms are cool in the hot weather. Everything is clean and well kept, and we liked the location because whilst it is in the medina it is close to the Bab Ziat gate … the medina is a complex maze and the gates give you your bearings. Typical restaurant in the Medina of Fes

Positive experience and in fact we are back! Lovely staff and in particular I recommend you go up to the terrace where they will treat you very well: soft music interrupted only by the call of the prayer of the muezzin, honest prices and no surprises, professionalism.... highly recommended!

Bad experience

Bad experience. There were six of us and I had expressly booked the terrace. We arrived and a young waiter, rude and rude, told us that the table was not there: given my insistence he replied “you look for it!!”. Since he was not there he asked us to move to the first floor (bad) where we ordered , waiting for the table to clear, a drink. Water and you: tea never came. After 30 minutes, since there was no news, we decided to leave. My advice: change maids.

A fine dining experience in a beautiful and peaceful surround

I am reviewing the Dar Trésor restaurant here since we did not stay at the Riad.
We came in late one evening for done dinner and were very gratified by the quality if the food and the service. The small selection of Moroccan salads and the Harirrer soup were just excellent. The dining room was very beautifully decorated in a traditional Moroccan style and had a very calm and serene ambiance. It was very relaxing. Best of all, the service was very fine. Jusuf made expert recommendations to us and received us in a very warm and hospitable way. He represented Dar Trésor very well to some unexpected guests. We will be happy to return to this restaurant and may lodge here on our next trip to Fes. Very much recommended.
