Average hotel

Nice building, open courtyard, nuisance saloon, screaming Moroccans, no banisters for us oldies.
Bedroom 109, ground floor, malfunctioning lock, no chairs, kind of sidewalk to put your suitcase on, smelly toilet, bathroom two steps, no handrail lives dangerous.
Sunken bath, without handles.
Vegetarian food, little imagination: plate of vegetables, one day rice, another day potatoes. Proteins were missing.

Thieves

Was here as a stop on a tour through Morocco. Came back from a day trip to find my room unlocked and a pair of earrings missing. No help from hotel staff in fact hey went through my things as though I was lying. In the end, no resolution.
Overall staff were rude and cold and indifferent. Rooms outdated and poorly outfitted. Common areas lack toilet paper etc. I stayed in room #414.
Lock your thongs, even the non-valuables. Thieves!
Would not recommend.

Top staff and perfect location

Negative noise and room reviews are hard to understand considering the value for money of this very charming and excellently located hotel at the gates of the Medina. An effort on breakfast might make this hotel perfect but it is already very good like this.
Spacious room, wifi, swimming pool , bar (with alcohol for aperitif lovers!) and especially very friendly and attentive staff. We stayed there for two nights and were delighted to find the Batha Hotel at the end of our stay to land after 12 days of intense activity in the Middle Atlas. We will return without any problems!

Book somewhere else it’s very treble

We arrived around 23:00 the receptionist didn’t have any record of our reservation (we booked way ahead).we had our reservation printed out with us and receptionist didn’t try to help we waited 1:30 to enter the room . Entering the room could be described as our nightmare bed linen was yellow inside of white . It had awful sewage smell, bathroom hasn’t been cleaned for at least couple of months
