View of the Fes medina

Very nice stay.
Very beautiful view of the Fes medina.
The pool is very clean. the breakfasts are very hearty
The rooms are air-conditioned, clean.
The services are impeccable.
I recommend it.

Pool was a standout

They do the best they can.
Tired interior. Rooms clean and comfortable.
Excellent pool!!!!
Breakfast food very average.
Staff so friendly.
Only downsides in summer was the barking dogs all night and the hoards of people below in the carpark partying all night. Not much sleep.

Nice but out of the way

Very beautiful, fantastic view of the medina, very romantic in the evening. Beautiful pool, beautiful room, the bathtub in the bathroom makes a nice shower difficult, but in Morocco there aren't any. The restaurant is not good, the food leaves something to be desired and the staff is not up to par.

Fantastic views!

Passing through this old and iconic hotel is mandatory. The restaurant and terrace is open to the public. The service is great, the mint tea and Moroccan crepes are excellent and I recommend.
If you want to have the best views of Fez, this is the best spot concerteza. It is located on a hill away from the center, so it is recommended to travel by car/taxi.

Great first impression, but overall left lacking.

I’m first impressions, this hotel is in a great location, elevated with a great view over the Medina. After the initial impression however, it becomes apparent that the hotel is quite isolated and you require transport to go anywhere. In effect, you are contained within the hotel compound. The room we had was very nice with a view over the Medina. The outdoor pool is refreshing. The room amenities are very basic, but clean. On arrival, there are two small bottles of water provided (it is not recommended to drink the tap water). These are not replaced on subsequent days. As there is nowhere walkable to purchase bottled water, we were restricted to purchasing water from the hotel at over six times the street price (€4 per litre). Prior to arrival, our guide told us we could use tap n go, however the hotel staff actively discouraged this, saying they only took cash, and then further explaining that they didn't have change. Only after repeated pressure did they reluctantly accept card payment. The dinner buffet had plenty of choice but the breakfast buffet had limited selection. Overall our stay was disappointing.
