Can’t imagine a better place to stay in Fes
Where to begin, every aspect of our stay at this fabulous Riad was exceptional. From the moment we arrived the team took care of everything making sure we were comfortable. Special mention to Marcos, so cheerful and wants to make sure everyone enjoys their stay. Once he found out I enjoyed their special lemon, honey tea, without me even asking delivered one to our room every morning.
Breakfast was included with our stay and consisted of a good choice of pastries, cheese, yogurt, and scrambled eggs.. Dinner here was also very good and we enjoyed performance by a musician. Our room was one of the biggest we have ever stayed in.. one fun fact U2 recorded their music video Magnificent here. Would not hesitate to return here

Lovely Riad in the Medina, good location
Riad El Yacout is a beautiful, traditional riad in the Medina of Fes. The rooms and all of the riad have the old world Moroccan look and feel that is so romantic. The room we had on the first floor was large and comfortable. The pool is a lovely setting and although too cold to swim in May, we enjoyed a beer sitting around the pool,
The breakfast was wonderful, actually too much food, but the hospitality and the service were great. We were able to walk to the souk in the evening from the hotel without feeling nervous. Riad El Yacout is very close to the blue gate. Highly recommend this beautiful riad with wonderful staff.
Fun fact - U2’s 2009 album No Line on the Horizon was recorded in part at Riad El Yacout in Fez, Morocco, during May 2007 sessions for the World Sacred Music Festival

Wow, what a beautiful Riad. True authenticity at its best. The most welcoming and friendly staff met our every need throughout our stay. Beautiful rooms, fantastic breakfasts in the courtyard and overall peace and tranquility was the order of the day. And that pool, so very inviting

Extraordinary stay at Riad El Yacout
We just spent 3 days with family at the beautiful Riad El Yacout. The place is absolutely superb, the person of the hotel with little care. Ideal location to walk in the medina, and easily accessible.
We had the chance to dine there one evening of performance, and were able to admire traditional Berber songs and dances; as well as listen to a traditional singer playing music.

We absolutely loved Riad El Yacout. This is my 4th visit to Morocco over the years, across different cities in this beautiful country, and this is honestly the best place I have stayed so far (even in comparison to 4- or 5-star hotels that I used in my previous trips). It’s very clean, very nicely decorated in authentic and traditional Moroccan style, the rooms are clean and comfortable, the staff is extremely nice, courteous and professional and they really go out of their way to make guests feel warmly welcome and at home. They serve a delicious and very generous breakfast, and always do it with a very warm welcome in the morning and a friendly smile. The location in the Medina is probably more suitable for tourists than business travelers. But this worked perfectly for us as we were on a family vacation and, if you have plenty of time (which we did) and you are patient enough to navigate the huge labyrinth of the Fes Medina (which we were), it’s actually a wonderful location to experience the culture, history and vibrancy of this great city. If we ever come back to Fes, which is likely, Riad El Yacout will definitely be our first choice as a place to stay. Till next time, Choukrane Jazzilane!
