Anass is a very attentive host and particularly effective in responding to all requests.
A special thank you to Fatima, who takes care of the treatments at the spa and has magic fingers!
The dishes are very flavorful (the best in Fez) and the entire staff is remarkable.

Disappointing
On our arrival in the evening we wanted to shower, the water was cold after 2 minutes showering (we had a family room and were 4). We reported the problem the next morning, the employee showed my husband the closures that they were all open. Then we approached the owner about the problem, he again said there was a problem with the water, it was very calcareous. He would hire the plumber. In the evening we tried to shower again. Cold water again after a short time.
Breakfast was very poor, on the first day there was at least a fried egg. The next day we asked for eggs and in response we heard that the store was closed. We are in Morocco, here there is food on every corner that you can buy. If you run a hotel / riad you plan accordingly. Tea for breakfast was only available upon request. We had the feeling anyway that the lady who had been in charge of breakfast was annoyed by our questions. We made a 12 day Morocco tour and were able to draw some comparisons. We slept in the most remote places in Morocco and always had hot water as well as always plenty of breakfast.

Nice establishment and warm welcome!
the Samarkand suite is spacious. Assan, the owner is very attentive to the needs of his guests and throughout our stay was very good advice.
All the staff also, as well as the local cuisine made by his wife. The organization of airport shuttles and excursions through its network is very reliable and conscientious.
We will return with pleasure.

Beautiful city
Breakfast good but not hearty enough
No luggage carrier and we were on the top floor so complicated because lots of stairs not recommended for the elderly or with children

Smell of odors in the bathroom, bad drainage in the shower
