I would like to extend a big thank you to Mr. Hamza at the reception for his exceptional hospitality. His smile, kindness, availability, and support throughout my stay were greatly appreciated. He was always at my disposal, with professionalism and responsiveness, addressing all my requests with great care.

First Impressions Really Do Count
I had a very late check-in around 2:00 am, but I was greeted with a warm welcome by an older gentleman whom I called Ozzy. He helped me to my room when my key wouldn’t work. The younger man who processed my payment was equally hospitable and complimentary. The breakfast was varied, with some really nice options. The staff were attentive and poured my first tea in Morocco. I believe first impressions really count when it comes to service. I would recommend a stay at Marrakech Centre Gare.

Terrible!
Hotel in very bad condition, very small and very dirty and neglected room with dilapidated furniture and poor hygiene conditions, inattentive and helpful staff. Luckily I arrived late at night and left long before dawn, I envied the people who had spent the night at the airport.... Given the time of departure, I had asked for a packed breakfast that I had been assured but was not provided. Chosen for the location near the train station and because I had trusted the hotel chain that I believed would ensure a minimum of comfort. To be avoided absolutely.

Don’t expect too much from this hotel if you are used to staying in Ibis hotels. This is no where near the standard you would expect from the Ibis brand.
The general condition of the corridors was poor with dirty carpets.
Our room was not good with a low standard of decoration, only one bedside table, one chair and very basic storage. There was no safe in the room although I was fairly sure the room description on Expedia suggested there was a laptop safe. When we asked the reception staff about the location of the safe we just got a shrug.
Power points were located away from useable surfaces.
The towels were thin and usually decidedly grey!
On checking into our room on the first night we found the towels neatly folded but already wet and obviously not fresh. They were changed quickly when we asked at Reception.
The only saving grace was the excellent cleaning staff who changed our towels and made up the bed everyday.
The bar and breakfast area was better than the rest of the hotel and although we didn’t take breakfast it looked like there was a good choice and it was well presented.
There is a pool but we never saw anyone swimming in it.
The hotel has a sign outside suggesting there is a restaurant but other than breakfast we were unable to purchase a meal.
The best thing about the hotel is its location, which is close to the railway station and within walking distance of the city highlights, restaurants and shops.
