Most charming and friendly Riad on the doorstep of Marrakesh buzzing markets and Jemaa El-Fnaa square
On arrival the hotel staff come and find you on the edge of the walled area. You are offered a pot of traditional Moroccan mint tea while you provide your details and then taken to one of the beautiful rooms inside their garden. Everything about this place is delightful, extremely clean and best of all typically traditional without fuss. The roof terrace where breakfast is served is also amazing. We treated ourselves to a hammam (also on site) treatment in the morning and felt totally renewed and totally cleansed. Every single member of staff are friendly and yet very professional and extremely attentive to your needs. I thoroughly recommend this Riad and will definitely return in the future. Thank you everyone to have made our stay a memorable one!

Highly recommended
The amazing location, the very nice facilities, everything super clean, the great breakfast, lots of quantity and the fabulous quality, although we had excursions at very early hours they got up to prepare breakfast, they did not give us the typical crappy picnic. All home cooking, someday we have dined at the Riyadh and also great.
The staff is lovely, they welcome you with tea and pasta, they say goodbye with a beautiful source of fruit, they helped us with the sim pass, to print our boarding passes, they accompanied us to the Transfer, they are amazing, really.

Unforgetable experience
We stayed 4 days in this riad and it was a success. First of all, the staff was impeccable, they took care of us as if we were at home, always offering us something to drink when we arrived from walking around Marrakesh and giving us all kinds of advice to adapt to the chaos of the city. In the morning they prepared breakfast (correct) for us on the roof which they advised you to have if you want to relax before entering the hustle and bustle of Marrakesh. Also, the room we had was super spacious and the bathroom was super modern which pleasantly surprised us. Every day they change sheets and bring new towels for the toilet and in the room they leave some sandals so you can walk around the riad which is good if you haven't brought shoes to be comfortable. Overall the experience 10/10 until the guy at the reception who was a loving person called the taxi to come pick us up at 7 in the morning. If you are looking for quiet, good, beautiful, cheap accommodation, this is your place. We will return 100%

Terrible experience
Extremely below expectations. I got a suite and it was small and dirty. To close it, you use the padlock that my grandmother used for the cellar. Uncomfortable pillows: I asked for a thinner one for my serious back problem and they told me they couldn't do anything for me. Upon arrival, the toilet paper was used and stained with blood. The staff struggle to understand and speak English.

Property Good - Be careful of Staff
Make sure you book airport transfer to the Riad, which is 15 Euros. We were massively ripped off by the airport taxi by paying 250 Dirums, approximately £19.60 and although not a lot the going rate should be no more than 100 dirum. We got further ripped off by street kids who surrounded the taxi when we arrived at our Riad along with an adult on a motorbike who grabbed our suitcases out of the trunk of the car and walker 20- steps to the door of the Riad and demanded we give them a ‘present’ for doing so. The confusion and not knowing if this was really our accommodation led us to stupidly offer 150 dirum for their service.
The Riad was pleasantly clean and presentable – about 15 mins walk to the Medina on a very busy ‘road’ no pavement where the excitement of competing with the traffic of cars, horse and cart, motor bikes and push bikes is a must experience.
The Riad manager was very welcoming and friendly. He was very helpful in terms of printing out maps for destinations and giving guidance on places to visit. Breakfast each morning on the rooftop was pleasant and enough to start the day. There are no picturesque views to mention. Now and again you can smell the drains. The bedroom was comfortable and clean with typical Moroccan décor. The pictures on the website are very true to real life, however, there are large mirrors in each of the room which is deceptive to the size of the rooms. Similarly the same can be said about the Spa. We did not use the Spa as it was very small had low ceilings which didn’t bode well with myself and my daughter who are quite tall.
Be warmed: DO NOT leave any cash in your wallets or purses anywhere accessible or visible as over the course of 2 days cash went missing from our purse that was left accessible in our suitcase from a padlocked room. First day it happened we questioned if we were mistaken, however on the 2nd day after checking the cash remaining from the 1st day we noticed that more cash went missing. We alerted the manager who said the cleaner could not have done this and because we didn’t have proof there was nothing we could do
