Another experience richer

As maybe for others this was included in the trip, after our trip through the desert on camel we were taken to Shaloma, We were well received, we were offered the Moroccan atmosphere, the room was beautiful and well cared for, you have to go through narrow alleys to get to Shaloma but it is worth it, you are a stone's throw from everything. Breakfast is also very extensive and catered for

Top staff, safety zero

This riad consists of two buildings. First building is nicely finished, with the necessary plants, roof terrace etc...
The second annex is under construction, and although beautiful, totally unfinished.
I can only be very positive about the staff. They do everything to serve you and meet your personal wishes. Here they spare no effort or effort!
BUT: this riad does not meet any European standards in terms of fire safety. There are no smoke detectors, no fire reels, no fire extinguishers, no evacuation plan. Knowing this property is located in the small alleys, Unreachable for fire services. In the first riad I found the only co2 fire extinguisher on the second floor. No longer allowed in Eu. In the second riad, no fire extinguishers, no evacuation plan, no fire hoses, no extinguishers. Fire safety is a real disaster. The bedroom doors are equipped with an outside and inside bolt. During our stay, it turned out that other hotel guests were locked up for an unknown reason, because other guests had closed their outside bolt, and so had to leave their rooms through the window. Imagine this happening during an emergency or fire!!!
To the owners: your properties have potential, but professional guidance is necessary.

It is very, very run-down and not maintained
Unusable terrace, mold, broken tiles, very defective plumbing
Bath towels were completely found
The welcome is no better
No accommodating contact

Fine experience of the Riad Shaloma

Nice with the neighbors a city trip. Marrakesh is so impressive and Riad Shaloma certainly contributed to that. 2 great hosts always helpful, attentive and nice. Delicious breakfast and dinner (3 courses for Euro 15, -) was fresh but what much.
They give tips of sightseeing and dining options. The Riad is nice and clean with an attractive courtyard. In the 2nd week of March the sunny weather was still to come and the roof terrace was not yet equipped to enjoy the sunbeds. Again a special view.
