Highly recommend
My husband and I stayed at The Mellah hotel very recently. The most idyllic, tasteful, boutique hotel. The welcome we received was A Star. The ambience, scent and cleanliness perfect.
The only thing better than the hotel were the brigade (team). We have never been so well attended to. Anything we asked or required was provided so promptly.
I have to particularly thank Zora and Issem. They are a huge credit to The Mellah. They both went over and above to make our stay so memorable.
We wish The Mellah all the very best with their future plans with renovations. To us it is perfect as it is.

Home from home
We recently spent three nights here to celebrate my birthday, and it was the perfect place to stay.
Although the riad is located in an area that initially looks quite run down, don’t let first impressions fool you. Once you step inside, it’s really an oasis. The riad is beautifully designed, incredibly aesthetic, immaculately maintained, and even smells amazing. It’s clear that every detail has been carefully thought out.
The standout feature of our stay was undoubtedly the staff. Every single person went above and beyond to make our trip special. They were genuinely warm, friendly, and always happy to help. I sent countless WhatsApp messages before and during our stay asking for recommendations and advice, and every question was answered promptly and cheerfully. A special thank you to Zorah, Issam, and Samad, who truly made our stay unforgettable.
We stayed in Room 10, the “Black Room,” which was stylish and very comfortable. Our only minor criticisms were that the overhead shower had quite poor water pressure, so we ended up using the handheld shower instead, and the shower temperature could be a little difficult to regulate. The room is also quite dark, which creates a lovely atmosphere but makes doing your makeup or getting ready a bit challenging.
Breakfast each morning was delicious, and the catering team were wonderful - always nearby with refreshments whenever we were relaxing by the pool.
The team also arranged taxis for us whenever we needed them and shared plenty of helpful local tips and recommendations.
The location is within easy walking distance of the medina, and the air conditioning in the room was excellent, which was an absolute lifesaver in the heat!
Overall, we had a fantastic stay and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this riad to anyone visiting Marrakech. The exceptional hospitality really sets it apart, and we would happily return.

ABSOLUTE FAVORITE
A place that surprises you and never lets you go. The Mellah is not a hotel, it is a Marrakech experience filtered through a prism of rare elegance. From the entrance, the architecture absorbs you — the light, the materials, the silence amidst the chaos of the medina. But what really makes the difference here is the manager: a rare presence in hospitality, both demanding and human, who embodies the soul of the establishment. You can feel that she knows every detail, every client, every moment. The resulting service is disarmingly precise: attentive without being intrusive, warm without being rehearsed. A stay that you won't forget. It's hard to imagine Marrakech any other way after this.

Highly recommend this hotel! The location is great, the rooftop is beautiful, and the service was top-notch. The manager, Hind, was fantastic and made our stay extra special. Our specific room didn’t have a window, so it was a little dark, but the incredible service and vibes more than made up for it. Would definitely stay here again!
