Very pleasant, comfortable stay in a beautiful location
We were greeted on arrival with fresh mint tea served on the roof terrace with a view of the sunset over a palm valley. We had booked a tent, these are actually accessed via the main property and are at roof level. Our tent was clean and comfy with towels provided. There is a shared shower with separate toilet and sink. Our house couldn't have been more welcoming or helpful and the staff were also very pleasant, happy to whip up a tagine, barbeque and fries or crepe any time. I think the bad review here may be due to the fact that the host and most of the staff have very little English (not surprising in a rural area of morocco). We spoke a bit of French and had a good chat and giggle with the host and staff, who have a great rapport. The food was delicious and used local produce, and check in and out were easy going. We also really enjoyed the recommended hike which was a 5 min drive away. I would have no hesitation in recommending this spot to anyone. Ps. Anywhere in morocco I would recommend bringing earplugs if you are a log light airport sleeper as dogs tend to bark at night. Pps. There is a beautiful, gentle dog resident named Salam (peace), give him a cuddle for me if you visit.

Very bad experience
We left the establishment as soon as we arrived. The very rustic character of the place did not bother us in itself, but the bungalows are closed with tarps, the heat is very intense at 47*, and there is neither fan nor air conditioning. No leaving the door open.
The real problem was the welcome. The owner was unfriendly, unavailable, and explained to us that he was not interested in the surroundings and could not provide any information. We did not feel welcome and do not like children
We preferred to find another accommodation that same day. This is the first time we have given up a reservation upon our arrival. Too bad, because the natural setting is beautiful.

Nice place for walks, accomodation okay
This is an okay place, very cosy living room and welcoming host. Friendly owner and staff. Clean room (tent actually). Good to know some things beforehand though: the "bungalows" are more like tents. That means no privacy soundwise, windy and very cold. We were there in february and had rain and stormy weather. The sound of wind and storm makes it hard to sleep, even with ear plugs. There are even indoor rooms with shared sanitary. If I had known that these rooms were available I wouldn't have booked the bungalow in that weather (they are not advertised on booking). You won't be using the shower anyway. We couldn't enter the shower because the glass doors were stuck and there was no hot water anyway. Also good to know beforehand: there is no place nearby where you can buy stuff (fruit, cookies, whatever). I was hungry all the time, be prepared :). (But I can't eat gluten so Morocco is not the best place for me) Indoor smoking is allowed in the dining area, if you have a sensitive nose just like me (especially for breakfast!) this is pretty annoying. Internet is mostly off or very limited. Vegan options for food are not available, yes they can do a tajine or soup, but don't expect any legumes. No proteins and constant hunger. The tables in the dining area were not cleaned after previous guests. Nobody seems to be responsible for these kind of things.
The waterfalls were just a stream of mud, not worth looking at, but the walk was really amazing! Start in askri (try to get a lift) , follow the river and blue dots, and end all the way down at café panoramique. We walked the whole way back to the hostel.
There is a cafe close by called café de la belle Vallée which has really good food.

Terrible experience!
The business owner of this place is a dirty person. I was approached by him to go to his room after dinner. Apparently he just asks customers to see if they say yes to him. He said there is nothing wrong with it as he his not forcing them he is just asking. I was with a friend and i felt very uncomfortable!

Misleading Photos?
The place was quite run down, the shower did not work and the bed was very uncomfortable. We made a booking in December 2020 during COVID lockdown and were there alone. I have never experienced anything like this before and I make this place a NO NO GO TO PLACE in entire Morocco.
