Great time, no worries

16 November 2024, week long vacation to Playa suites in Acapulco. We were nervous after reading content from internet but after arriving here my fears quickly left. What a beautiful place. Ample police officers, national guard patrols and even the army was seen. In talking with the guides, the new president is making the country much safer.
We booked most of our tours online. I booked one tour in the hotel lobby also. We did snorkeling, the city tour & the cliff diver show with diner. Beautiful sunset at the flamingo hotel. We met another tour guide that we spent 4 hours with him on Thursday, Mr. Roberto Estrada. He speaks great English as he took us to tour the fort of San Diego. After our tour he took us to his friend Fernando where we visited his shop to purchase some souvenirs. Roberto explained to always ask for a better price. They offered us free drinks. We did purchase three nice bracelets and other items. I felt very comfortable at all time and felt we received a great deal.
Please call Roberto before your trip and discuss options with him. He can even get you a house for a week for you & your family or recommend a place.
744-121-3471 is his number. You will not be disappointed. Let him know when you arrive, he will be at the airport with a taxi waiting.
Our American dollar is a great deal currently, Christmas gift guys!

LOUSY HOTEL

I have traveled thousands of times to acapulco but I never thought I would get a horrible experience in Accommodation and Service.
1. The rooms are old with no amenities, no dryer or bottles of water.... Most surprisingly, their armchairs had bed bugs. Really terrible.
2. Your internet throughout my stay never worked for me in my room or on the beach.
3. What about the elevators so small and only 2 for an entire tower.
4. They don't have enough beds for the large influx of people they have.
5. Close access to the beach at night!! What kind of head does it fit in? I had to leave the hotel so I could get in through the public.
And to close with a golden clasp at check out they wanted to charge me the plastic of the room key because I lost it, but apart they wanted to charge me extra cost for leaving 40 min later... it should be mentioned that I have stayed at HS hotsson, party A. Amares. And this is the first hotel where they want to charge you for everything like their facilities are worth it.
Anyway I will never go back to beach suites, terrible experience... I hope it serves you.

A bit tired in a great location

Location is excellent . We arrived on a weekday , later and didn’t have a wait time to check in . Admit got closest to the weekend , the place got very busy. The best way to sum it up is what my 14 year old daughter said , “this place doesn’t look like the pictures “. A bit disappointing, factor that in. Space wise , great . The maids did a great job cleaning , but things were old and showing their age. Our biggest disappointment was our reservation said King and two doubles, which ended up being two doubles and a couch. Also, not mentioned in our reservation but I assumed from pics and other reviews we had a fridge (we stayed in the mini suite ) Nope, it was a blank spot covered where a fridge used to be . Kind of a big deal for us . Overall , just didn’t feel like the company wanted to lure visitors, the opposite of our experience in our following hotel in Mexico City. Kind of a “you get what you get “ feel.

An unforgettable experience

The place is beautiful and the room had a spectacular view, it was very spacious and comfortable. The food was excellent and the drink was available all day. The highlight is the service and attention. And also cleanliness and speed to solve any problems. During breakfast, Marco and Guadeloupe were excellent. Without a doubt, thanks to our stay at Playa Suites, our first experience in Acapulco was amazing.
