Best possible view of the ocean, it’s like being on a cruise ship balcony, you can almost reach out and touch it, lots of sea life, like an aquarium.

We were very impressed with this hotel. The views were beautiful out in the patio chairs were comfortable, the beds were very comfortable. The room was very spacious. There was a very convenient restaurant located on the property which had excellent food for breakfast and lunch. Oxxo was just one block away

We loved our stay. The views are phenomenal. We love listening to the ocean 24 seven. The rooms are open area and bright. Clean and amenable! The owners are also very kind and helpful. It was a pleasure to stay there! We look forward to another visit when we return.

A Getaway Without Getting Away

My wife and I, Puerto Vallarta residents, wanted a getaway and out of the city. And Traditional Sierra Leon Hotel hit the mark. Only 30 minutes south of the city yet feeling totally removed. As mentioned, only 6 suites which felt quite intimate. We were on the top floor, unit 6, which was wonderfully spacious, floor to ceiling windows , 12 foot ceiling, and an unparalleled view of the ocean. The unit was VERY clean. the bed was very comfortable, the kitchenette was well stocked (note: if you bring enough groceries you can stay unbothered for days), and we saw whales and dolphins from our balcony. And Luz, our guest service receptionist, was extremely pleasant and couldn't be more helpful. We will be back, we are going to make the hotel our regular getaway.
*FYI: If you stay in the top suites (5 & 6) there is a little road noise due to being so close to the highway. By no means a deal breaker.

Good spot away from Centro but close enough for day and evening fun and hotel away from hustle and bustle quite time. Easy access with taxi.
