Never staying again
Door locks broken, never comfy beds, no breakfast included. Dirty rooms, no hotwater.
Even the room heater didn't work and no amenities in the room, not even a bottle of water.

Ransacked personal belongings in the room! No Go!
Bad:
Internet only works during the night hours, the room is extremely noisy, the room cannot be blacked out, extremely cold in the room, mold in the shower.
Extremely bad:
Despite mentioning several times that I don't want housekeeping, someone was still in the room. On the third day, my things were different and some things were browsed. I even unplugged the fan behind the bedside cabinet to charge my phone, this fan was also plugged in during my absence. You really have to go out of your way to see this behind the bedside cabinet. Disgusting behavior like that! I do not recommend this place at all!!

HorribleRoom at First Sight, But it Works
Sadly neglected, this was once a pretty good hotel. The restaurant is dark and festooned with For Rent signs, the lobby very dated in acres of faux wood paneling, but clean and brightly lit for all that.
Staff is tired but accommodating. If you want an extra blanket or pillow, ask as soon as you arrive as they lock 'em up when the housekeepers go home! Good security, night staff to let you in if you come home late.
Teeny elevator works fine, and the central courtyard is truly magical with high brightly lit space and each floor has its unexpected special touches, like koi in their tiled pond on 2 and an old out of service wooden bar on 3.
In the room,badly cast hundred pound gigantic plaster gilded medallions are the featured decor, along with a tiled floor lifting in many places and a small desk and chair combo which would be perfect for interrogation facing the door behind the bed. The vibe is 70s Vegas with splendor way long past date. Particularly loved the Kimberly Clark Professional toilet paper dispenser that goes WOOOOWHWOOOIIIIIIR when you pull a few sheets... we predispensed a bunch to avoid having this happen in the still of the night. This is perfectly paired with a KC soap dispenser with a constantly blinking light situated directly across from the bed. Mmm.
Wow. What else can you say? With even a small investment in chisels and paint, a few throw rugs, this room could be quite pleasant. With a larger investment this could again be a very special hotel. Abandonment is the theme.
CLEAN, QUIET interior courtyard, good quality of rest, decent bed, really everything you need, the the price is right.
Lots of great options for eating right across the street. Recommended crash pad!
