Fiesta Americana Reforma

We have stayed here twice before, service is excellent and beds are super comfortable. Having said that, we found our room in urgent need of maintenance, lamps were broken, closet needs repair , bedside tables are full of scratches. Closet had only 2 shelves and no drawers . Location is one of the best in the area, but its an old hotel and frankly you can stay at a newer one for the same prices. A couple of years ago prices were far more competitive and it was worth it, but not anymore. Ive stayed here 4 times, I dont think Ill return.

Disappointing

I’ve had one of the worst experiences in hospitality at this hotel.
First the positive:
1. The waiters at the Fiesta Club breakfast were always very kind and attentive.
2. The location is incredible. Right on Reforma avenue. Steps away from convenience stores, restaurants , and the Revolution monument.
The negative:
1. Arrival. There was no one to assist me upon arrival. I had to carry my bags up to the front desk and there are no ramps. You have to walk up the stairs. I was only offered assistance after checking in, when I didn’t needed it anymore. The front desk staff were very serious and aloof. No smiles or any kindness for both check in and check out.
2. The rooms. Rooms are very bad maintained. I booked my room at the fiesta club level and the first room was dark, windows stained and the furniture had small bruises. It was also facing the back of the hotel so I requested a change. The second room had very nice view, however, it also had maintenance issues: there was a paper tissue instead of the peephole, and the evacuation sign outside the room was broken. The windows were very thin so you could hear everything from the streets despite being on the 22nd floor.
3. Outdated. The hotel itself is very old and it shows. The carpets were old, the doorknobs were old as well (the kind of thing where you had to slide the keycard in), and the furniture and overalls needed to be renewed.
After complaining, I received an email from management informing the hotel was going to be renewed soon, so perhaps I’ll give it a second shot after it. But until then, I would not recommend staying at this hotel.

Nice lobby, Decent room, mini fridge was locked and there was no other fridge to use. Only stayed one night so I didn't use any amenities. Overall, good stay!

The hotel is not longer a good option to stay. It is not clean and it needs a full renovation
