The staff here is lovely. I had a ton of questions about El Paso/Juarez, and they were very knowledgeable and helpful. Everything was clean and well-kept. The noise from others coming and going from their rooms/communal bathrooms was noticeable but not terrible. I heard no noise in my room from the street.

Cute, affordable, and friendly to boot
The hotel is very quaint and stylish especially considering the era it was built in. The hotel also works with the local businesses to get discounts for their guests. It is on the same block as several restaurants and LGBT bars, which made for an excellent pride bar crawl. Staff are all very helpful and friendly, and our room was exactly what we needed. The walls were very thick, we couldn't tell there were other guests it was so quiet!

An excellent place. Even though I lived here in El Paso years ago and have traveled all over the United States, I never realized this place existed—it’s quiet, comfortable, and reasonably priced. Above all, the staff is attentive and the atmosphere is cheerful; it feels like a trip back in time. I recommend it 100%.

It’s a great place to stay. Since it is located downtown, there is very limited parking in the area. The kitchen that is available for guests is located down a set of stairs leading to the basement. The kitchen is quite large and there are chairs and tables available. The first floor of the rooms is up a staircase from the lobby. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room we stayed in was clean and well taken care of, and was medium size with a lot of space in the closet.

Clean, friendly, great location, historical. Scope out your parking ahead of time. The hotel has I to two spaces. Also backs onto a nightclub, which was very very loud, but I was exhausted, so just put a pillow over my head and slept.

Due to El Paso's dry temperatures, the Gardner Hotel uses centralised evaporative cooling, and each room has a transom above the door. Radiators are provided in each room for centralised steam heating during the winter months. This property is located in the downtown area, so noise may be present at times. Earplugs are available at the front desk upon request. Please note that the original elevator is very delicate. Operation of the elevator may vary. The stairway may be necessary to access your room. Two parking spaces are available in the front of the hotel for reserved for guests only. Metered parking is also available on the street. Meters are free 18:00 to 8:00 Monday - Saturday and all day Sunday. The Gardener Hotel is not responsible for any tickets or towing of guest vehicles. A valid ID and credit card used to make the reservation must be present at check-in. Third-party reservations require a credit card authorisation form along with a double-sided copy of the state ID and credit card must be received in advance. Please contact the property in advance for a credit card authorisation form. Please note the hotel is operating with minimal staff at this time.
