Clean, pretty, and pleasant
In general it was great. The facilities are very pretty and clean. I got a beautiful view of the mountains from my room with a terrace with plants and a fire pit. The room is very spacious. The bed is very comfortable, we rested very well. The staff is always working. The service was friendly and accessible at all times. We needed to bring our little dog so as not to leave her at home and they gave us facilities for it. It has a good location in case you want to go out to eat somewhere else. As an area for improvement, the included breakfast could be a bit more abundant and they could add another option for variety, but it tasted good. Overall the experience was very pleasant, it has everything to rest at the place and disconnect from the routine. We would definitely return.

The property was very nice and the rooms were very spacious and the mountain/vineyard view was lovely. The breakfast was very good! The occasional sewer smell on the property was not pleasant but it wasn’t constant. The staff was responsive but not fluent in English so that had some challenges. Grateful to bring our small dog and the property had their own dogs who were friendly. I would stay here again.

It did not lool really clean this time. Te original room was assigned the ac did not work had to be in anotjer room that was not was i expected. People in te pool did not respect the schedule and it was noisy.

We had an amazing time in Valle. The Hotel Flores de Sal is amazing and the staff super friendly. For sure we will come back and visit again! THANK YOU!

Included breakfast was disappointing and so was some of the service members
Our group of 16 people, including seven children, stayed for two nights from Aug 1-3, 2026, and booked five rooms. The hotel grounds are absolutely beautiful, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the price is very reasonable for the area. Unfortunately, several issues significantly impacted our stay and would prevent me from recommending this hotel to others.
Issues we experienced:
* The included breakfast was extremely disappointing. The only complimentary breakfast option was chilaquiles. As a group of 16 guests from the United States, including seven children, most of us did not enjoy or eat chilaquiles. A few of us only had the coffee and fruit plate. Since juice was not included, most of us also had to order additional items, including juice for the children, because the complimentary breakfast alone was not sufficient for our group.
The service was also very disorganized. During the first morning, several members of our group had to repeatedly go to the counter to remind the staff about missing orders because they kept forgetting us. Breakfast took nearly 90 minutes due to multiple mistakes and delays. One person in our group never received their pancake order, and we eventually told the staff not to bother bringing it anymore. To make matters worse, our bills included items that we never ordered.
The following morning, we brought food for our children because they simply could not eat the breakfast options provided. We only ordered coffee and fruit from the hotel. After breakfast, we were told we still needed to pay for three fruit plates. Later, the staff reduced the charge to two fruit plates. The situation left us feeling as though we were being charged extra because we had chosen not to order more of the hotel’s food after our disappointing experience the day before. Whether or not that was the intention, it added to our frustration and left a negative impression.
* The hot tub was not actually hot. It was only warm. After spending the day on a winery tour, we were really looking forward to relaxing in the hot tub, but because the water was not hot, we only stayed for a short amount of time. This was disappointing because it was one of the amenities we were especially looking forward to enjoying.
* We were charged a cleaning fee at checkout for a small blood stain on the bed sheet. When we checked out, the front desk asked us to wait in the lobby while someone inspected our room. They then informed my husband that we needed to pay a $40 cleaning fee because of a small blood stain on the sheet. Neither my husband nor I remember seeing any blood stain or any other stain on the bed before leaving the room. I asked to go back to the room to see it myself, but they would not allow me to return to the room and instead showed me a photo on the front desk computer. They later reduced the charge to 200 pesos (approximately $12), but the situation left a very negative impression. I paid the fee because we were ready to leave, and I told them I would be sharing my experience in a review. What made this even more disappointing was that I had left cash tips for housekeeping in our room because I appreciated their work. Had I known the hotel would handle a situation like this by charging us for a small stain, I would not have left those tips.
As we were walking outside to meet our ride, staff members followed us to apologize after I said I will write a review.
The hotel itself has beautiful grounds, attractive rooms, and a fair price. However, the service and overall guest experience fell well below expectations. As someone who worked as a luxury travel advisor for over eight years, I pay close attention to the details that make a stay memorable. While this property has a lot of potential, based on our experience, this is unfortunately not a hotel I would feel comfortable recommending to others.
