Lovely place

Perfect place in Holbox. Lovely big room, good air con, little kitchen with big fridge.
Only a short walk from the centre of town
I had booked a week but had to travel elsewhere after three days to help a friend. They could have held me to the whole booking but they only charged me for the days I stayed and let me stay in the room till about 5pm on the day I paid up till.
Big help and lovely of them to be so accommodating!

Poor Hotel Marvin Holbox

Poor hotel. Not clean. Bad service. My family stayed there 3 days. Expensively. Bedrooms so uncomfortable. Please don't be fooled by the photos from the hotel, that is not real.
Is you plan travel to Holbox my suggestion is ask firstly to make any reservation. After the covid that place is so expensive and beaches are facing issue by sargazo.

Hard To Beat

Nice place. Close to downtown and most everything else. Everybody in Holbox knows Marvin, which can be helpful in some instances. Rooms are clean, housekeeping does a good job. Our air quite working and they moved us to a different room since they couldn't get anybody in quickly to repair it. Also, Marvin cooks some pretty good meals for the guests every other day or so. Never know what it'll be, but usually something out of the ocean. Some minor construction going on at the hotel and next door, but nothing of much bother at all.

True Mexican Hospitality!!

I was there for a short stay. From day one, you are shown true Mexican hospitality and warmth! The rooms are cozy, super clean and inviting with their simple and colorful decor. Plants, decorative seashells and hammocks at each corner make your stay enjoyable - home away from home! I needed to change my flight plans last minute. With the help of Jessica & Marvin, I was able to get myself organized and home safely. They make their guests feel first class and cared for. Thanks for being a friend - God bless!

Exeptionally good value for money.

The host Jessica made you feel at home right from the beginning. She is friendly, serviceminded and always ready to advice and recommend places to go that at least for us were very good. She pointet out places that we would never had found our selves.
The rooms are very clean, big and spacious with kitchenette and aircon. No mosquitos :-). There is no view from the room which is also reflected in the price. The seven rooms surrounds a small cozy yard with an outdoor kitchen where there on request may be arranged common dinners.
Everything is in walking distance but yet the place is quiet.
The place offers laundry service from day to day at a very reasonable price
We can warmly recommend this place for future guest that do not neccesarily search for a seawiev and direct access to the sea.
