Everything was perfect we loved the breakfast and how nice the lady’s in the morning were with us ..!!! On the other hand the only thing we didn’t like was that if we wanted to used the hot tub in the evening their was no one available at the spot at that moment, seem like we where there all by ourselves except in the morning :/. Also the glass to the shower is soo close to the toilet seat that your nose is literally touching the glass on the shower that was a down but other than that everything seem great ..

My husband and I went for a short stay to celebrate his birthday. We stayed at Holt hotel for 3 nights. We got to the hotel at night time after a long bus ride from the beach side of Oaxaca.
There is no staff at night time so no one was there to greet us. Holt hotel is more like an Airbnb. Self check in and minimal staff only in the mornings for breakfast (included which was nice). Had issues with the code upon arrival. Communicated with staff/property manager via text which was a quick response. But had to reset the code to our room several times as the code provided prior to arriving did not work. A bummer after a long trip to get there.
They had breakfast included every morning. We had a miscommunication on what time breakfast started and ended. Since there was no staff at check in, we missed breakfast one of the days. This was also not specified in the property instructions.
The place itself was a vintage almost Palm Springs inspired place and centrally located. No complaints there. The staff was very sweet and helpful in the mornings when they were around. Big shout out to the staff decorating the room for my husbands bday. Sooo sweet of them.
Overall, I recommend Holt hotel for a short stay. Rooms are quite small with no windows. Place is in a good walkable area. If you like the Airbnb style place with minimal staff and check in/out. Then you would like this place.

Such lovely, kind, helpful people!
They take great pride in keeping their guests comfortable. Breakfast was elegant and simple and different every day, freshly made and thoughtful. Well-stocked grocery and surprise bakery across the street.

This place is amazing. Great location, fancy decor, extremely friendly staff (have never experienced anything close to this level before) and tasty breakfast. If I ever come back to Oaxaca City I am definitely staying here again. Loved this place.
