Very good hotel
It was a good location at the Centro and, as the name suggests, the buildings were old but clean. Breakfast was also delicious with a choice of what to put in the omelette and what to drink. I chose a room with a bathtub, but it was nice to have more space.

The hotel was not far from the zocalo within walking distance. The vibe of the hotel was nice the rooms were big. I was not happy with the fact that they took the full payment at time of the reservation 8 months before. I called and talked to them to refund the amount taken the refused to return it. They said they would not and we would lose our money if we didn’t go. Be careful when booking as they will take full payment. I would not stay here again and would suggest others not to stay either. Also, when we were trying to check out at 6:30a there was no one available we called and looked around no one was in the hotel. We left the keys at the counter and sent them a picture via WhatsApp.

Cozy Hotel, Great Locale
I stayed here for five nights in June. Casa Antigua is pleasant, comfortable, cozy and pretty quiet. It's two-stories, no elevator; and, most rooms overlook two interior courtyards. The larger one, which is the dining area, is covered. The other courtyard is much smaller, and is open-air. The kitchen is open 8 to 15:30 for breakfast/lunch. The breakfast menu isn't particularly extensive; but, it was included with my room. There are several purified water dispensers on the ground floor. Also, there's a rooftop terrace with a covered seating area, an oddly placed exercise bike, and what looks like three suites. The view isn't captivating, (rooftops of surrounding buildings and water tanks), but, you can see the nearby mountains.
Finally, the hotel is bordered by buildings on either side so street noise is pretty low; though, the sound of guests talking in the courtyards does carry. And, Casa Antigua is in a great location and sits a few blocks from El Zocalo and Iglesia Santo Domingo de Guzman. Stores, cafes, and eateries abound in the neighborhood.
Finally, the hotel is bordered by buildings on either side so street noise is pretty low; though, the sound of guests talking in the courtyards does carry. And, Casa Antigua is in a great location and sits a few blocks from El Zocalo and Iglesia Santo Domingo de Guzman. Stores, cafes, and eateries abound in the neighborhood.

It was very clean, most staff was very friendly and helpful. Location was GREAT, I just didn’t like that they wouldn’t give you extra towels, every time I asked for clean towels they used a difference excuse not to provide them.

I really love the room super clean and comfortable, very traditional decorated. A little bit noisy in the morning because the restaurant but that is part of being in Mexico . Noisy and loud, we are the most happy people in the world.
