Best Oops of the trip...

We tried booking our hotel too close to the day of the dead and this was the only one left. To our surprise, it was in great location just off the beaten path, but still close to mercado's and the zocalo. The price was very inexpensive, and the rooms were extremely clean, while the breakfast varied a bit every morning. The beds were a little on the firm side, but was great for my back. The staff was tremendous! The helped get us two great tours and were more than helpful in anything we needed, or were searching for. We felt more than safe. Grab one of the second story rooms with a balcony.

Lousy Service

Terrible everything!! If you have a chance to stay at this hotel, squander it. Poor Service, poor hygiene, lousy beds and pillows! The rude staff. The super rude breakfast lady!
The noise won't let you sleep! And for what it offers it is very expensive. Don't ruin your experience of visiting Oaxaca by staying at this hotel!!!

Do not stay in this place

Once again I express my disagreement
If they respond by this means, do not block the opinions and tell the truth
TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND VERY BAD HYGIENE... SEND FUMIGATION!!!
My annoyance and complaint is
Due to cockroaches, lack of hot water, annoying pump noise or I don't know what it is but it prevents rest.
Attitude of staff who excuse themselves by telling lies through this means
And wanting to return only half of the total payment
It's a lie, I didn't get a room change even though it was requested from the beginning.
After hearing the lady mocking me on the phone (who was delicate and asked for a photo of the cockroach that had been crushed)
Express my complaint
I was not given an answer for that
several clients listened when they had no other option
They assigned me a room and it immediately got better
They chose to give me my money instead of solving
The owner argued that she was very delicate
You simply pay for a friendly and CLEAN service
I don't sleep with cockroaches.

Price is right

Very affordable, clean, and bare bones. Solid location during DOTD and walking distance to pretty much everywhere. Free breakfast and solid Wi-Fi. Again, price is right, but luxury and comfort are not their calling cards

Tidy clean and reasonable

It is really well presented with great service and clearly a lot of pride in the place. Free breakfast also. I hate criticism but I have to say that the water pump is most instrusive on the second floor only being turned off late at night and coming on first thing. I really hope the owner deals with this as it is a seriously annoying sound.
