It was a nice experience to enjoy the international guelaguetza event!

It is a family hotel very central in Oaxaca, it is very spacious, comfortable and clean, in addition to the prices being very affordable, and the most important thing is the attention and warmth of how the administrators and employees treat the visitor.

Cigarette odor in the room…bad service

Really intense cigarette odor in the room,this hotel is located close to the Cathedral;in an old building but lacks maintenanceI,photos in the web do not show the real condition…I complained at the hotel’s offiice,and they did not care about and told me that the hotel was full and also that they have “hidden smoke detectors “,when they checked the room and found that my complaint was genuine they only told me that no other rooms were available ,of course they charged the cost in advance;this place is a really bad choice.

Pretty Hotel but needs some problems fixed

Booked this through Booking .com and there was no mention of rooms with and without bathrooms. The hotel management fixed this for us but we will not be booking this way again. We got a room on the first floor that was clean and quaint, no windows but next to the lovely patio. Water pressure and water temperature were an issue. Had to let the shower run at least 10 minutes to start getting warmish water. Water pressure is kind of expected in these older places in Mexico. The ad also said the hotel had parking, even had a picture! No such thing! Parking was extra and was in another block. These problems need to be fixed!

Very average

This place is in a great location, about a 4 minute walk to centre of town but that’s all it had going for it other than a nice rooftop garden with seating and a table.
There isn’t aircon and the room got very warm. There was a fan supplied that sounded like an airplane taking off so it wasn’t practical to use. The water pressure in the shower was terrible and the room was very dark with poor lighting.
Only suitable for travellers on a tight budget.

Excellent Value!

Great location 4 blocks from the Zocalo. Old-fashioned Oaxaca-style hotel built around a couple of quiet patios. Traditional rooms are quite comfortable, good showers and surprisingly excellent internet. The staff have all been friendly and very accommodating. Nothing fancy, but a good, honest, comfortable property. Oh, and they serve free coffee in the mornings!! I’ll be back…
