Un oasis en La Peñita.

Una joya escondida. No se deje engañar por el camino lleno de baches afuera.
En el interior, encontrará habitaciones y terrenos perfectamente limpios y desinfectados con una hermosa alberca con una hermosa cascada. Excelente comida, bebidas y servicio en el restaurante Abisal. ¡Y estacionamiento seguro, cerrado y gratuito!
¡Reserve la suite si está disponible!
Lo recomiendo altamente.

A hidden gem. Don’t be misled by the bumpy road outside.
Inside you will find perfectly clean and sanitized rooms & grounds with a beautiful Pool fed by a lovely fountain. Excellent food, drinks & service at the restaurant, Abisal. AND safe, gated, free parking.
Reserve the suite if available! It is absolutely worth the extra pesos.
It was a pleasure to stay there. I highly recommend it.

The picture are great but beware!

The cleaning staff was excellent including the Gardner/Maintenance guy except for one thing - - every morning at seven they gather at the coffee stand and talk loudly to one another as well as on their telephone. No one gets to sleep in if their room is near that. An aside, the internet says that there is free coffee. Most mornings there was no coffee and definitely no milk/cream.
One thing that could be done is to get a manager that knows how to run a restaurant. When we were there people stopped going to the restaurant because of him. You never knew the prices and they seemed to change every day. We were charged for coffees that we never had but he argued that we had had them. Every morning he opened the restaurant he turned up his music so loud that we could hear it in our room. In addition he had his own little store selling jams and tequila and if you did not buy any the service became nonexistent. He was obnoxious and for him alone I would not return there.
The pool area - people broke glass and it went everywhere, including in the pool, but no-one shut it down to clean it up. Mexico has the strongest anti-smoking laws in North America which prohibits smoking everywhere, but many people sat around this pool smoking every day. Guest were allowed to bring in their own speakers and play their music as loud as they wanted day and night and none of the management staff said anything. One person took it upon herself to tell them to turn it dow.
Would I go back there - hell no- not until a new restaurant manager is appointed and the on duty managers increase their awareness as to what is going on.
The rooms were lovely and the maids terrific and the pool are was beautiful except for how it was managed.

Great stay !!!!

The staff are so friendly and the rooms comfortable,spotless and oh so modern. Coming back to this hotel after a day out is a haven - a sanctuary of comfort. The lovely pool (a little warm for my liking - but everyone loved), to getting into the beautiful glass shower, to the comfy beds with so many great pillows, including a full body pillow! Slept great. Complimentary coffee in morning, sweet little restaurant and bar at the pool. I had the nicest bartender make me one of the best margs from scratch I’ve had in months in Mexico. No mixes used - squeezed the limes! Than in the afternoon staff brought us some popcorn and lovely mint/rum drinks. We had a complementary wine as well! The staff always had a smile and couldn’t do enough to make your stay perfect. It was such a different experience than our hotel stay in San Blas the days prior-which was so unfriendly and uninspiring. Highly recommend this hotel
A couple blocks to the walking bridge Over to Guayabitos and you must try Avanta Italian restaurant on same street as hotel- it was outstanding and reasonable.

Great hotel

If you are looking for a really modern spot in the middle of a beach town/ fishing village this is for you. Attentive staff and great decor. We slept sound and the pillows were awesome. This is always an issue for me and my husband. Get your pesos as most of the townies do not take credit cards or dollars. It is about 20 minutes from the busy/commercial spots like lo de Marcos and Los Pancho. It’s quiet with a few local restaurants that were really great as well. Some of the negative reviews I think were from people who thought they were going to be in a more modern community. The streets are dirt roads and cobblestone. This is probably the only hotel here

Didn't stay but looks very clean and friendly and walking distance to town of La Penita. Safe area. I would recommend it to anyone. Newer place in La Pentia. Would stay there if didn't have my own place. In La Pentia trailer park.
