Lack of maintenance. I don't recommend it.

We rented the room because it had a kitchen. At the time of arrival there was no coffee maker, no microwave, the anafe we were given was never around, the fridge was also not (luckily they changed it), we had no hot water (luckily they fixed it But sometimes you ran out of water ), drains were clogged, supposedly it is a hotel and they never came to clean the room. Very friendly maintenance people. But I wouldn't come back and I don't recommend it either. It doesn't comply with anything the page says. Booking shouldn't have to post it on their page anymore.
The wifi wasn't working. Practically the only thing that went well was the air conditioning . Very good location indeed. Very noisy, if it bothers you, it's another point against us, that doesn't bother us. The towels were holed, the sheets a little dirty. We were the only ones staying, imagine if there were more
It's a shame because if they live up to what they offer, the hotel has potential. For the same price we went to a much nicer hotel.

Don't book here!!

My husband and I booked a room through Hotels.com at Castillo del Mar back in June of last year for our trip that began on 12/31. Our email confirmation said to pay the hotel when we got there in their local currency. We called 2 days ahead of time to make sure everything was still in order and we were assured that our reservation was confirmed with the hotel. Well, we got there and the person working didn't speak a bit of English. They managed to communicate that the person coming in a half hour could speak English but this person could not either. They did manage to tell us that they were 100% full though. We showed them our confirmation and he used some app on his phone to translate to us that because we didn't pay ahead of time (even though our email said to pay when we get there) it didn't guarantee our room and they were full. I am 7 months pregnant and no one there helped us. We were extremely disappointed with our experience and would never consider booking here again.

We like our stay here, not a lot of extras but nice.

I liked this hotel. It was nice and the AC worked well but no Wi-Fi in the room. They do not serve any breakfast or coffee here. It was a bit pricey thought. We found a different one, closer to 5th, for the next night that was half the price!
