Like an oase In The midle of Tulum
Wonderful place In The midle of Tulum. Quiet, clean and friendly staff.
Easy to get around. A bit far to The Beach , but take a car. Here is lovely.

Awful experience
It was a disaster.
The receptionist told us that they had no room for us, even though we booked 3 months in advance. He was very rude and not sorry at all. Mistakes happen but being this rude is not ok. When booking.com try to call him, he picked up and then hang up the phone.
The hotel seems dirty, the pool is really small.
Nothing like the picture.
Would not recommend it at all.

Be careful…they do not respect confirmed reservations
Room which was confirmed through booking.com was not provided…instead of twin bed room they offered one bed. Receptionist was not allowed to take decisions. Owner (on the phone) was aggressive and said we had no rights under Mexican law as we have not paid for this (however we had a confirmation from booking, a credit card was provided and the owner asked for cash payment only).
The behavior was unacceptable, not customer-oriented and aggressive.
I can warn you as I believe it is the business principle to insist on cash payments (despite booking.com reservation) and claim afterwards that under Mexican law there is no guarantee. I guess he sold the rooms to somebody else to avoid commissions on booking portals.
PS: we saw the rooms…they looked nice

Centrally located and cats
The Hotel was friendly, clean, centrally located and very comfortable. There’s 2 cats that live in the hotel and will follow you into your room and insist on being played with. They also have bikes to get around, which I didn’t see on their website. If you go make sure to play with Cata the one eye tuxedo cat.

Latino Hotel Boutique exceeded my expectations in every way - the perfect stay in Tulum Pueblo.
I loved everything about Latino Boutique Hotel and my room, and it is definitely the best hotel for the money that I have ever stayed in. I planned a last-minute solo trip and booked this hotel during my layover with no research and I was blown away. The location is perfect - just one street back from the main drag tucked away in a residential area with restaurants and cute spots, easily walkable to everywhere in Tulum Pueblo. It's quiet and peaceful, and the hotel itself has quiet hours. There's some minor street noise and music, but it's just a hum, barely noticeable inside, and you're going to have that everywhere in town. The hotel common spaces are so clean and thoughtfully decorated. The staff are genuine, friendly, and just fantastic, and I was happy to see and get to know them over my stay - shoutout to Janeth and Lucia. When my shower head needed tweaked, they fixed it in on the spot and when I had some bug bites, they offered me cream. Each of the 13 rooms was named after a fruit. I was lucky enough to get upgraded to Toronja (Grapefruit), the penthouse, with a king bed, double sinks, and balcony with a soaking tub and hammock. I saw other rooms that were equally cute and well thought out. They really think of everything - double window shades, ceiling fan, great A/C - so you can adjust light and temperature to your preference. There was wonderful cleaning service daily (thanks Maria!) that came when I was out and I always returned to a neatly made sheets, fresh towels, and refilled water next to the bed. I also loved the free fresh coffee in the mornings and the kitchenette and mini fridge in the common space. Tulum feels safe and secure, but they also have friendly 24/7 security (hi Don Carlos!) to greet you when you return at night. I could have spent my entire trip lounging in the hotel and been perfectly content. OH, and they have two friendly, adorable rescue cats Tino and Catalina who hang out and like to visit.
