Easy to get in, very clean and serene. Many thanks for a peaceful stay. The plunge pool was lovely. The owners were very informative and responsive - even on New Year's Eve! I plan to book again, soon.

Unsafe rental experience arranged through the hotel
Our stay unfortunately involved several serious issues.
When we arrived, there were a large number of mosquitoes inside the room, and we were heavily bitten during the night. In addition, the property is quite isolated, while transportation in Tulum is difficult and unreliable without a vehicle.
Because of this, we arranged a vehicle rental through the accommodation. The first vehicle did not appear to have the necessary equipment for regular road traffic (including missing mirrors), so it had to be exchanged. The replacement scooter later broke down completely while we were driving on the highway, leaving us stranded in a dangerous situation for more than 30 minutes without a safe area away from traffic. Even after assistance arrived, the vehicle could not be restarted.
We also experienced difficulties getting our ID document returned after the rental process.
What was especially concerning to us was that the rental provider could never be clearly identified. The phone number, address details, and payment reference we received could not be linked to a clearly identifiable registered company. Despite multiple requests afterward, we received very little support from the accommodation and still have not received any refund.

The lication is down an unpaved road that will destroy your vehicle unless you have a high suv or truck.
They do not provide additional basic amenities when staying for a week or more such as extra trash bags, toilet paper or towels. Communication with the host did not exist once checked in.
Wi-fi was sporadic.
Pool was lovely, staff were very pleasant, nearby wellness centre was fantastic.

The ambiance was great. The cleanliness, not so much. The sheets were dirty, there were waterbugs, alive and dead in the room. The pool was filthy but the hotel was accommodating when we told them about the pool. By the time we noticed the sheets were dirty, the cleaner had gone home for the day (at 5pm) so that was annoying. There was also a foul, sour smell wafting in the halls. The system used to pay was horrible so its best to pay in cash when possible. The hotel itself is very beautiful I just wish they had more cleaners to assist. We saw 1 cleaner everyday for short hours & once she left no one else had access to the cleaning supplies. Also note that they do not provide clean towels daily like most hotels and no wash cloths. The hotel is in a rwmote area so its best to rent transportation otherwise, most stores/dining is about a 20+ min walk. BRING BUG SPRAY! lots of construction neing done nearby which finishes arouns 6-7pm so before that time, it may be a little noisy. The staff were all really sweet here. I think with more cleaning help this hotel can easily be 5 stars.
