Really everything is Perfect! an enchantment with excellent value for money.

We rented the casa Cuixe which, although independent, belongs to El Guayacan, and located 300 m from the rest of the 5 suites of the hotel; to which it is connected, a fabulous swimming pool of 17 m with a pool lounge of the most cocoons and comfort. The high quality firm bedding is absolutely fantastic! The super friendly welcome of Fridtjof, the small touches of Martti polyglot, the vibes of zenitude and the impressive and majestic location of this nest perched above the canopy and which blends into nature, facing the whole bay of Zipolite composes an enchanted bubble very gay where you laze naked or in a jersey, cut off from the World with all the comfort of a 5 stars. Let us not forget the responsiveness and efficiency of the young Ricardo imbued with a sense of service and an unparalleled kindness! All the mostly American or Canadian gaysts are unanimously dithyrambic. A rare and unique place in Zipolite, moreover at an excellent value for money ( - 200 € per night).

El Guayacan is a small, beautifully designed hotel just minutes from Zipolite and Mazunte beaches. The rooms are individually decorated with premium touches, the pool and garden are lovely, and the hosts make you feel genuinely welcome. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a quiet, boutique escape in Oaxaca!

It’s hard to fully capture how special my stay at El Guayacan was. It was magical, restorative, fun, and truly beautiful.
Communication before arrival was seamless, with helpful guidance on getting from the airport to Zipolite and everything I needed to feel prepared. Ricardo welcomed me warmly, showed me around the property, and made sure I felt at home from the start. He’s attentive, kind, and genuinely cares about the guest experience.
The casitas are thoughtfully designed, quiet AC, a very comfortable bed, honor bar, beach essentials, and a stunning bathroom with an outdoor shower that became a highlight, especially under the starry night sky. The balcony views over Playa Zipolite are simply breathtaking.
The owners, Martti and Fridtjof, are exceptional hosts they are warm, present, and dedicated to making every guest’s stay memorable. What stood out most to me (beyond the incredible hospitality) was the pool area: a beautiful lap pool with a relaxed lounge setting that naturally brings people together. Traveling solo, I especially appreciated how easy it was to connect with others and form a sense of community.
The location is perfect, slightly up the hill for peace and privacy, yet just minutes from the beach, restaurants, cafés, and evening spots.
Thank you to everyone at El Guyacan for such a memorable week. I’ll definitely be back.
