Очень не плохо

Не плохой, не дорогой отель. Удобно расположен. Все простенько но уютно и чисто. Хорошие, широкие и удобные кровати. Внимательный персонал, хоть и не знал языка - общаться вполне можно было. Рекомендую.

Do not stay here!

Do not stay here. It's dirty, it smells, and their clientele are very questionable. I joined a tour and the company put us up here. I think they didn't do their homework. The lobby smells of stale food. The room smells as bad. Each room has condoms displayed on bedside table. And worst of all, my room has a used condom on the chair. We moved next door to Grand Hill hotel.

Lunch w friends during Naadam at "Good Day" Korean Restaurant in Amure Hotel

We went here for lunch on Saturday of Naadam since the other eateries outside the hotel was closed . The service was good enough, portions large, food was piping hot. The waitress was fast in responding for our request for ice to drink with the tea. Prices we moderate and the meal included coffee.
Location was not too far from the city center, but you will need a car or taxi to get to the main square. There are a few other Korean businesses near the hotel,

Unfriendly or indifferent staff with an 'hour hotel' feel to it

We stayed here a couple of times when in Mongolia. On a first sight the hotel is in a good location, reasonably priced. However, already during check-in doubts started to appear.
We experienced three different receptionists and whilst one was indifferent, the other two were vergeing on the unfriendly side. Out of the two rooms we had, one was rather small with shower over a toilet, although the other one was decent. The beds are rock hard although I did not particularly mind to be fair. The breakfast on the other hand was apalling.
In isolation the hotel would be passable, until we started to notice 24/7 influx of 'light women' with their patrons frequenting the hotel, with the reception offering free supply (at least it seemed it was free to us) of condoms from an industrial size pack. This includes a couple of lady boys and trannies hanging out in the reception 4am, waiting for their customers, a man with two prostitutes checking in at 3am, asking for supply of condoms and generally dodgy looking guests all around. Interestingly, the staff was actually friendly to them, unlike to us.
TAken all into consideration, the price of the hotel is too high and I would not recommend a stay unless out of curiosity.

Mixed bag

The staff are very helpful but the room was so cold we had to ask for a heater. There was no hot water - but this issue was resolved after phoning reception every time we wanted a shower. The bed was the hardest I have ever slept in, accurately described by my boyfriend as 'like sleeping on a table".
