Affordable amenable amicable

I had to go to Walvis Bay on short notice and found this place, It is not quite in the centre but in walking distance of the southern bay where you can see thousands of flamingos.
You find all you need, including a good enough internet connection.
The place is clean, the breakfast decent and the attendant very helpful and friendly.
The bed was a bit too soft for my taste.

Bad Service

Nice room in modern context quite central. Staff extremely rude since our arrival. Although we had agreed on a King suite room on booking, the girl asked us for the same a higher price and we dazed by her attitude we opted in the end for a lower category room.
Susanne also welcomed us visibly annoyed since our arrival and at the time agreed with her the night before for breakfast, we had to call her because she was asleep.
Returning in the evening after dinner at a nearby restaurant, we could not find a ride back to the room. Same thing in the morning to find the breakfast room, missing all kinds of indications and being the structure very labyrinthine.
Bad experience.

it could be better

The room was fine. But this lady is doing laundry in the lounge. That should be happening out of sight. And they were being very noisy while watching WhatsApp Status or tick tock . Talking out loudly, so I couldn't sleep so I had to go out to avoid the noise . When I got back , there was peace . If you were to ask me if I would be back , my answer would be no.
There's no toilet paper holder, no soap holders, no coffee or tea in my room . Shower is broken though it works
No aircon in this room .

Very Disappointing .

Not what we saw or booked . We needed and booked three rooms and when we got there we were offered one room with three beds . They then wanted us to wait while the owner was coming to try and take us elsewhere !!
Not a good vibe at all .
They then said they were going to charge us anyway !!!!!!!
Would stay away for certain .
