Terrific time in Thamel
From the moment we arrived, the staff were so warm and welcoming. From the security guard to the maintenance man, the hotel manager, owner and all the other staff. Everyone is always smiling and look like they enjoy working at the hotel.
Special mention though to my favourite at the hotel who was Lucky the lab. She's a big softy who loves getting stroked and having her belly rubbed.
We celebrated our anniversary here and were welcomed with flowers and a card on arrival. They also gave us a free dinner for celebrate.
The choice of food is fantastic and they have an excellent range of drinks too. There is a fantastic variety at breakfast too.
They were also kind enough to sort out being able to watch the World Cup in our room which was very kind of them.
The hotel is lovely and modern, shower was excellent, it was spotless and would definitely stay here again.

Great location in Thamel, very friendly staff, very clean, cool architecture (minimalist and almost Japanese concrete), good breakfast and overall would recommend! No gym etc but good for a quick pit stop in Kathmandu vs a longer stay

Excellent place to stay in kathmandu
The room was superb, and it was so kind of them to upgrade me to a suite. It was spacious, comfortable, and the shower was excellent. The bed was clean and cozy.
The English-speaking staff were very helpful and polite.
The location is excellent—just a short walk to Kathmandu Durbar Square, with plenty of shops and restaurants right downstairs. I also tried their soup momo, which was very delicious.
The only slight concern is some noise from downstairs, especially if you go to bed early or sleep in late.
