Great value for money and delicious restaurant

Hotel Lapha is the perfect escape from the main chaos of Thamel. Super friendly staff, very clean rooms and and a delicious indian/nepali restaurant downstairs. It was a perfect way to escape the tourist scene. I'll be definitely coming back next time I'm in nepal.

Very untidy rooms. The hotel is next to the road so it is very noisy, the bed is the worst and it was very noisy. The shower was ok and the worst part is that they ask for money when you check in as they think all guests will run away without paying, do not eat at this hotel. Very bad experience.

Great, great value

Super friendly staff and a great place to stop over if you wish to be in touching distance of Thames, without being in the frenzy of the place. This is a stone’s throw from The Garden of ?Dreams and a short walk to Durbar Square and Ratna Park. Extremely comfortable bed, great WiFi and hot water! Only downsides for me were the sewerage smell from the bathroom early one morning, though it wasn’t there on my first day, so possibly a one off, and the noise carrying up the stairs (it is quite echoey outside the bedroom). Will stay again for sure.

Best value for money hotel at perfect location

Had a wonderful stay with cozy rooms and great staff service. The ambiance was quiet and peaceful and the location was perfect being 5 mins walk from Thamel and Durbarmarg. Highly recommend this hotel to fellow travelers.
