We had a room that faced the river which added to our stay. Beautiful view and an elephant would come down once a day to be bathed in the river. We also had a rhino come into the yard. Staff was very accomdating with any of our requests. I also booked all of our safaris through the hotel.

We had a fantastic stay at River View Jungle Camp - it was so good that we extended it by two days and stayed for a week! The location within Sauraha is good and the views over the River Rapti and into Chitwan National Park are amazing. We were made to feel so welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Rooms were clean, spacious, ac and tv were great. Rooms cleaned and restocked regularly. The restaurant was great and provided Nepalese, Chinese and Western food. The highlight for us was the safaris. Our guide and friend Mangara was outstanding. He has been at the hotel for 30 years and has so much knowledge about flora and fauna. The wildlife was amazing - rhino's, sloth bears with cubs, sambar, spotted, hog and barking deer. Mugger and gharial crocs, turtles, mongoose, so many beautiful birds, wild elephants and even a tiger! Our host, Madhav, was so welcoming and we enjoyed an evening in his company. Sauraha and Chitwan are magical places but the River View Jungle Camp made it totally perfect and a total highlight of our travels through India and Nepal. Their website is so true - we came as guests and left as friends and we really did see rhino's in the garden!!

A beautiful view from our upgraded super deluxe room, very spacious with balcony. Bathroom and room very clean. The staff couldn’t do enough for you, so welcoming and friendly. We had a lift to and from the bus station. We had an amazing full day jeep safari organised by the hotel. The breakfast was fresh and made to order. Would highly recommend a stay here and hope we visit again someday. Thank you!!

Good room, air con was a bit temperamental though. Food was okay. Staff were attentive and helpful, however they quoted us well above the price other tours offered for activities, so we went with another provider down the road.
