Small town feeling in the big city

Hostal Maria del Mar is comfortable, clean, affordable, easy to find, and the establishment is extremely accomodating. My favorite part of the hotel is it's garden, it truly manages to make you feel as if you're in a peaceful small town instead of the bustling capital.

Absolutely beautiful, safe and clean place in Managua

I stayed at Hostal Maria del Mar after learning about their great prices from a friend. I was traveling on a budget and didn't want to spend hundreds of dollars for just a few nights. I arrived at the hostel and I couldn't believe how nice the rooms were for the price, equipped with a pristine private bathroom and AC. The bed was comfortable and I truly felt like home, the patio is very relaxing and filled with vegetation. The property is surrounded by a thick wall and it is 100% safe. The owners will go the extra mile to guarantee that you are comfortable and will answer any questions you have about the city. I will definitely be staying there the next time I visit Managua.

home away from home ,beautiful place, great people

I have been in central america for about two years and have stayed at several hostals
Hostal maria del mar is second to none it is very clean the rooms are very nice and the location is very good ,What really makles this hostal stand out above and beyond all others is the people here who own and work at the hostal Carlos and his wife Lila are great they make you feel like you were just adopted very very helpful and willing to go the extra mile to make your stay as comfortable as they can they are by far the nicest people i have met at any hostal in two years and there son manuell is a very kind person and has gone out of his way to help me
this a great place i recomend it to single travelers and to family traverlers I promise you you will not be diappointed

Pésima experiencia

La atención fue pésima, nos ofrecieron parqueo y cuando llegamos por la noche no tenían espacio para guardar el vehículo, prácticamente nos sacaron del hotel. No pasamos la noche ahí, no le recomendaría a nadie el lugar.

Gracias a Dios les regresamos el dinero y no necesitamos de gente mal educada como ustedes, se les explico que se sacarian los vehiculos para darles espacio a su vehiculo, y simplemente reaccionaron de manera pedante, y arranco super brusco, que podemos esperar con este tipo de educación de parte de nuestros clientes? el proceder y actuar de nosotros fue explicar y su esposa, lo primero que dijo fue que se irían donde su madre mejor, no podes dar un review de un lugar sin siquiera haber tenido la experiencia, sea más coherente,nadie lo ha corrido y tenemos los videos con audio donde les explican. y los videos de la parte de fuera donde arranca como pista de carreras.

Un lugar súper recomendado, lo hacen sentir en casa, súper limpio,tranquilo,la zona es segura esta muy cerca a centros comerciales,supermercados,farmacias,etc lo recomiendo para pasar mas de un día.desde él balcón se alcza a ver él volcán
